        The Office of the Public Defender for the Tenth Judicial Circuit offers a range of judicial services to the citizens of Polk, Highlands, and Hardee counties in Florida. It represents indigent individuals charged with crimes. The office also provides various appellate services to individuals with mental illnesses, developmental disabilities and personality disorders. The Office of the Public Defender for the Tenth Judicial Circuit arrests law violators and offers indigency screening services. The office maintains a department of juvenile justice and juvenile detention center. It conducts detention, adjudicatory and disposition hearing procedures, as well as files formal charges. In addition, the office prepares defense cases and administers various commitment programs.

        Overall

        I am thankful to the two APDs who showed me how they, with a handful of ASAs orchestrate abuses of process for personal gain. They have successfully revealed to me how easy it is to pervert the under-stated intent of PDOs
