OMG, My son is getting married...

OMG, My son is getting married in Lacey and we are in Florida, so I sent my sister on a hunt to find us a nice CLEAN motel. She went to a couple and said that Barnegat Motel was clean and spacious. OK, great, so she talks to the gentleman about a price and my son calls him and sets up the reservation, great-another thing off the crazy to do list. My daughter and boyfriend want to stay there too, so he calls and gets a women who quoted him double and is so nasty, he doesnt book anything, a week or so later, he calls back and gets the women again, and again she is so nasty, he says that we have a wedding and we have a reservation for July and we want to stay at the same place, she looks up the reservation and says there is no reservation in that name, WHAT?? so I call my son and say you had better call them, so he does and she has quite the attitude, but he explains who talked to who and that he called and so on, she is willing to honor the price and add the reservation. He tells her that you even charged my credit card, and she insists that they wouldnt do that, so he gives his cc info and she says she will call him back, so (this is the kicker), she calls back and said that HE booked the reservation for June, not July, now remember, not only did my sister go there, He also called, Well, she is in a huff and says that she believes her employee but will give him the credit towards his July reservation, but the price will need to be higher, almost double because , just because she says so, Obviously he tells her no and he just wants his credit back, There is no Customer Service, she was appalling to speak with and just makes up prices because she can. So she lost out on at least 3 to 4 rooms for 4 days or so, Moral of the story, get everything in writing, by e-mail or something, you obviously cannot trust these people, We are told to try and support local businesses but this place that was impossible.. I would suggest staying some where else, customer service is very important.
