Joyful Beginnings Child Care

We have sent our daughter to Joyful Beginnings since she was 2. They are very professional and accommodating. When selecting a childcare, it can be nerve-wracking, but upon meeting the directors, our minds were set at ease. We would recommend Joyful Beginnings to any parent looking for a quality daycare.

My children have attended JB since they were infants currently they are 7 and 2. JB staff has always been great with my children. The staff at JB has done an amazing job of preparing my oldest for kindergarten with helping to structure advanced reading and math while she was in pre-k. The staff is always sending home information regarding monthly learning and focus topics. They keep use informed using app services through LifeCubby Family so throughout the day I can log on and see what my children have been doing. They are great at planning special trips, visitors, and extra activities such as soccer shots and karate. They go above and beyond to make all of the children enjoy their experience each and everyday. For our family JB is not just daycare they are an extended family.

We have been taken both of our kids her since they were 12 weeks old, they are now 7 and 2.5 years old. We have seen great improvements over the years and impressed with the activities for the kids including transportation to summer swimming and summer rec, soccer shots during the day right at the center, field trips when the older kids are on breaks,etc. They provide formula for babies and a nutrious meal plan throughout the day for the older kids. It's not easy leaving your most precious gifts but they have gotten to know me as a mom and will contact me to give me a "heads up" if one of my kids are not feeling well which I am the type of mom that truly appreciates knowing these things. The development they get made my son more than prepared for kindergarten!!

Joyful Beginnings has been taking care of both of my kids since they were 7 weeks old. I'm impressed each and every day with the knowledge that my children come home with. All the teachers are great and treat the kids as their own.

1 star is too generous. The staff and management of this facility are unprofessional. There are very few that are professional and would recommend to be with your children all day. This facility appears to resemble a warehouse from the outside and may appear nice on the outside it is dirty and ultimately not what it appears to be. The management appear to be friendly but than you hear them talking bad about their staff and families. They are underqualified, some may have experience but the education is lacking. The management does not even have the education, the only teachers I am aware of with a degree are the Pre K Teacher and A Float. Just by talking to the management you feel as soon as you turn your back they are talking poorly about your family, and I do not feel the children get the respect or highest quality care they can get.

I head heard that this center was under new management, so we scheduled a tour and checked it out. There are 2 directors who are very down to earth and you can tell they genuinely care about the children. The center is very humble-looking from the outside, but it is beautiful on the inside. It is clean and much larger than we anticipated. I now send my son there, and he loves every teacher there. The teachers are very sensitive to the children's needs and really form a relationship with the families. They all work very well together, and for a workplace of all women, that's commendable in my book! The center often offers all kinds of "extras", and their summer program this past summer was phenomenal. Even if you were unsure before, you should stop and check it out with the new directors, it's a great place to send your child!

One star is generous, I wish i could rat this "child development center" with a 0. The building that the center is based out of is an old warehouse so my husband and I hesitated on taking our daughters. My husband and I reconsidered when we entered the building everyone was very nice at first and seemed to know what we as a family wanted and needed. Sadly come to find out that they only act nice to your face. The staff is unprofessional and under under qualified and the owner is not the person she appears to be, she is mean and advertising a loving family environment but yells and runs the center as if it was just a daycare. The center is very filthy and never seems to be fully clean but the staff acts like they couldn't be bothered with the mess. In talking to some of the other mothers I found out that The owner also owns another "child development" center in Henrietta and that the care was similar there as well. I withdrew my girls and feel bad for the children who are still there.

The owner of this company is a very unprofessional person. She is greedy and puts herself above and beyond the families and staff. The staff are underqualified. It is not a learning center it is an over-priced daycare. I would not suggest anyone to take their child there. All they care about is money, and don't care about the families. Very unprofessional.
