The Texas Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation, also known as TDMHMR, offers a range of long -term care plans. It administers community-based waiver programs for people with multiple disabilities. The organization provides case management, employment assistance, respite care, home modification and counseling services. It also offers therapeutic, dental and rehabilitative services. The Texas Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation accepts Medicaid health care plans. It serves more than 13,000 people.
