Alden Gardens of Waterford Senior Residential Community

My Mother is at the Gardens assisted living. I have nothing but compliments for them. My Mother & Father took care of each other for 65 yrs. My father passed 2012. We had home care visits daily until she broke her hip 2013. Those last years Mom just lay reading or tv. She couldn't be left along at night so the decision was made on assisted living & we chose Alden. Mom didn't like this, couldn't believe we put her there so I was guilt ridden. Assured this is normal the staff helped me while helping Mom. She started in a wheel chair & now walks with walker & better than she has in 6 yrs. This improvement is not possible without attention and care. Plenty of staff, food is restaurant quality with a full menu to choose from, clean and I can't say enough about the communication with them. A year later my Mom finally said she really had it good there and was so well taken care of. Now a social butterfly.
