Hutchinson Fluid Transfer Systems is a world market leader in rubber products in each of its three markets: automotive, industry and consumer products. Hutchinson produces body sealing systems, transmission systems, automotive and antivibration systems, along with sealants, adhesives and coatings. Its laboratories are the world's largest for an independent supplier of air conditioner refrigerant fluid transfer systems. Hutchinson operates major production facilities in Jonesville and Reading, Mich., and Livingston, Tenn., producing world-class, under-hood air conditioning tube and hose assemblies. The FTS headquarters facility in Troy, Mich. houses its extensive research and development laboratories. Adjacent to the research labs is a large prototyping and sample-making unit. Highly skilled prototype technicians use production-class machinery to produce advanced parts and sample parts.
