        Sierra Teardrops is a family owned and operated business. We rent our well outfitted T@B teardrop trailers near Sacramento, Northern California in the Sierra foothills. This is the perfect spot: you can be in Yosemite, Tahoe, Napa valley wine country, Santa Cruz, or a zillion places along the west coast within a few hours drive. Our goal is to provide you with the most complete, easiest camping experience possible. Each of our teardrop trailers are in excellent condition, and are well equipped with a comfortable bed, dining table, bathroom facilities, and a fully equipped kitchen. We want your camping experience to feel as "homey" as possible. They all have air conditioning, radiant heat, running water, propane stove, refrigerator, TV/DVD/Stereo, a comfy bed and a dinette. Some even include hot water, a potty and shower! * We include much more than other trailer rental companies in California. Our kitchens are equipped with cookware, tools, serving dishes, and soap. We provide freshly laundered sheets and towels, coffee, games, a TV with movies...and so much more! * We are dog friendly! We understand that dogs are important family members, and you may want to include your small dog on the family trip. * We care. You are not just a 'renter' to us, you are our Guest. We want you to be comfortable and happy in our trailers. INTRODUCING OUR FLEET: Currently we have THREE teardrop trailers for rent: • (SOFITEL) The ultimate luxury teardrop trailer! This brand new 2015 T@B has a clamshell kitchen in the rear. It's equipped with air conditioning, radiant heat, hot water, shower, flushing toilet, fridge/freezer, propane stove, stereo and DVD player with dual TV screens (one inside, one in the rear kitchen) The dinette converts into a 58x70 bed! 1760 lbs • (LEMON DROP) This white and yellow 2007 T@B has a fun retro lounge vibe. It has an interior kitchen with a 2-burner stove and refrigerator, air conditioning & heat, with a u-shaped dinette that converts to a 70x73 bed. Included is a portable toilet and a TV/DVD player. 1670 lbs • (TIKI) This silver and black 2015 T@B might be the perfect combination. It has an interior kitchen with a 2-burner stove and tri-fuel refrigerator (best for boon docking, can run off propane!), air conditioning & heat, hot water, shower, flushing toilet, with a u-shaped dinette that converts to a 70x73 bed. Stereo and DVD player with TV. 1670 lbs If you would like to customize your camping experience, we also offer optional add-ons such as a portable generator, side-mount tent that doubles the living space, furnishings for an "outdoor living room", an adjustable rapid hitch, and more! ABOUT THE OWNER: Mitch has always loved camping, but suffers from a herniated disk making it unbearable to sleep on the ground or in a cot. He decided he wanted to camp again, but needed a "real" mattress. He proposed the idea if buying a teardrop trailer to his fiancee Patricia, and she enthusiastically asked to get one with a kitchen and potty too! The search began for a teardrop trailer that met these requirements. Mitch discovered the T@B trailers made by Little Guy, and invested in the 2015 "Sofitel" model. After experiencing the intrigue of the teardrop from friends, neighbors and strangers, Mitch decided to rent out his precious teardrop trailer. Sierra Teardrops was born!
