I brought my wife’s ring to Monahan Jewelers to repair a pulled prong on the ring and replace the center diamond with a high quality, one carat + diamond. Monahan’s repaired the ring and replaced the diamond which cost thousands of dollars. After wearing the ring for three weeks the center diamond fell from the ring. The ring was never properly repaired. When I returned to Monohan’s I was told very curtly that there was no warranty and Monahan’s did not replace lost diamonds.

Think twice before you do business with this company. This is not “…the name you can trust in fine jewelry…”

Do not do business with these people! We paid five grand for a diamond engagement ring that fell apart within weeks and when we brought it back they refused to fix it!! They wanted to charge us to fix thier jewelry!?! Don't try to sell jewelry to them either. "Mr. Monahan" will low-ball you for less than half of what its worth. This is really sad since we live at the beach and try to support local business. This place just rips people off - go to Jared where they guarantee their work and will fix any problems for free.
