The Caboose

Free, fun, and educational wine tastings every Friday! Beer tastings the first Friday of each month! This place is great. The Caboose has a great selection of cheeses, meats, wines, beers, and even a smattering of homegrown Virginia products and foodstuffs. The staff is very knowledgeable, and it's the sort of place where the guys/gals at the counter know just what you like to drink and often have wonderful suggestions.

Beer is a bit pricey, but it's to be expected in a smaller place that's not chain-connected. The selection and service is worth the extra buck, believe me!
