Vision City of Arlington

Had a 10:30 apt. Got here at 9:00 and asked if we could be seen early. Yes no problem they replied. It is now 10:30 and I'm still waiting to be seen. If they would have been honest I could have left and came back..

I had a check-up here last year and remember the doctor being friendly, efficient, and professional. However, when I scheduled my yearly check-up for this year, I was very disappointed with the whole experience. I called to schedule about 2 weeks in advance and confirmed a 5:15 pm appointment for Monday. The Saturday before I was woken up before 9 am with a call confirming my '5:30 pm appointment'. Then on Sunday I received a text confirming my '5 pm appointment'. Then Monday morning at work I received a call, and the confused receptionist confirmed my '5:30 pm appointment', but asked if I could arrive at 5:15. I let her know that my work is not flexible, but I would try to come in early. Ultimately, I didn't make it to the office until 5:30, and was informed by the secretary that the doctor had left! She stated, "I didn't know if you were coming or not, so the doctor left." After calling me twice at inconvenient times and sending a text in the previous days, she didn't think to call again to ask if I was on my way the day of my appointment. Embarrassingly poor customer service and job performance - honestly, how hard is it to schedule appointments, when that is the primary function of your job?

Vision City's Dr. Dann Martin is a vision saver! I have had two members of the family suffer severe eye problems (wife - retina, and oldest son - corneal pseudomonas), and because of the fabulous work of Dr. Martin, their vision was saved (both have dealt with major eye issues that could have left them blind ). Dr. Martin, and his staff, are a top-notch crew! ...Customers for life - by choice!

Always recieved good service. Mother of 3 boys. All wear glasses all 3 boys have broken their glasses. Vision City is always there to make sure boys are taken care of and for that I will always be...One Happy Mama!

I've gone to Dr. Martin twice now. The first time I waited 2 hours and the second time 1 1/2 hours to see him after my appointment time. While he is nice, his staff is certainly lacking in manners and customer service. I called to get a trial pair of contacts after my appointment, 3 phone calls later over a week's time ended with Tiffany just talking over me and hanging up. Needless to say, I will not be going back there.

The staff at Vision City were great. They were able to have my new prescription lenses made in about 20 minutes and they had them inserted into my current frames. Very nice personnel as well. I would highly recommend a visit to Vision City for anyone needing new prescription glasses.
