It's a shame that people are not more honest. When we arrived to look at a truck, the first thing I noticed is that it was on a charger. The salesman said they had left the light on and the battery died. So, we took the truck for a ride and everything seemed okay. The inspection was out and so we told him if he'd get it inspected, we'd buy it. He did. After driving the truck about a 100 miles or so, the check engine light came on. We had the codes pulled and was told that one of them was indicating that the battery cable had been removed from the PCM (which causes all check engine lights to go out) and the other code was a transmission code. Right now our truck is sitting in a transmission shop as we await to hear the outcome. Either a Torque Clutch, Torque Clutch Solenoid, are we have to have a re-built tranny. Be warned that this dealership is not honest with their customers!!!!
