        $30,000.00 later I have dead plants and bushes and a refusal by, Mark Halfin, the owner to replace any of them until the week before my one year warranty is due to expire. The landscaping was installed in February 2016 and he will not replace until February of 2017. This guy is so uninvolved that after we contracted with him we had to send the initial and final payment to him by mail. We never saw him again once we signed on the dotted line. His crew did the work and practically all communication from him was done by email. I have made it my mission to warn as many people as possible about his business practices. I have even set up a website devoted to this matter. There you will find pictures of dead plants and back and forth emails between him and my husband. The website is the name of the company with ' revealed ' added to the end.

        I paid Mark Halfin and Argyle ...

        I paid Mark Halfin and Argyle Landscapes over $2000 last spring to level and re-seed my yard. The seed never germinated despite spending several thousand dollars watering and fertilizing. I also started noticing there were many new varieties of weeds in my yard that were not present before they came out to re-seed. My yard is a total mess and I will again have to with hire another contractor or I will have to do it myself. The yard is still not level and there is absolutely nothing but weeds growing rampant in my yard. I have demanded refunds but he has refused. Probably because he knows it's not worth my time and expense to go after them for damages. Mark seems like a really nice guy and I wish I could give a positive review, but the results speak for themselves. I would not recommend hiring this company to do any work unless you have money to waste on a new weed garden. Next time (this spring 2012) I will be doing the work myself so I know it will be done right.
