IF I COULD LEAVE NO STARS, I WOULD. I NEED A CONTACT NUMBER TO REACH THIS COMPANY. MONTHS AGO WE BOUGHT A GIFT PACKAGE FOR A COUPLE HUNDRED DOLLARS. COME TO FIND OUT THEY NEVER CONTACTED US TO SAY THEY WERE GOING OUT OF BUSINESS??? MY FRIEND SAID THEY WERE SO UNPROFESSIONAL AND TOLD HER THEIR MASSAGE PERSON QUIT AND SHE COULDN'T EVEN GET THE MONEY BACK THAT WE PAID??

I went to Monet for eight months for a color/cut combo with thoughts that it may be as it were throughout my life, as I had been receiving services there since childhood, and periodically during my travels home while on military leave. The first time that I went following my final return home, the service was exceptional, (though my original stylist had retired) excluding the fact that my technician mosty talked about herself while fondling her hair in the mirror. Which, mind you didn't bother me much as she did a brilliant job and I quite enjoy listening to people as aposd to speaking. I noticed though, that each visiy became more about what she wanted rather than mysel. Upon my final visit, she left me with color on twice the recomended time. When I brought this to her attention shortly after I knew my wash was ready, she stated that the color timed out after the recommended minutes and it would be alright. So, I patiently waited. After she washed me, she tried combing me out with a comb that had color residue on it and I said something about it. Then as she was drying me, she had visibly put much more highlight in my hair than requested and had to further go back and darken those area's. Mind you, she used the same darkening agent that had been sitting there since the mix at the beginning procedure. Did she not tell me that it becomes void of service after so many minutes prior?! My hair was quite brittle and breaking following this final service. While I am apologetic for her marriage on the brink, I paid top dollar for quality service while tipping, even for this final sevice at twenty dollars.

I made an appointment at Monet at a specific time with a specific girl. The lady at the desk(who had a towel on her head bc she was having her hair colored while at work) informed me that the the girl who I had an appointment with was "going to be a good while" so she pawned me off on another lady. This was unfortunate for me. I was wanting a specific cut for my long hair which I had been growing out for about one year. After looking at the pictures of the cut that I wanted she set to work on my hair and it was all down hill from there. The cut was an absolute monstrosity. She tried to correct it and ended up making it worse. She charged me full price for the messed up cut, told me my next cut would only be $14 and asked me not to tell anyone that she had messed up my hair. I left the salon and went straight to the store to buy a razor. I then went home and buzzed all of my hair off. From there, I went to the mall and bought a cap to cover my now bald head. This place may be okay if you only need a trim, but for anything else go elsewhere. They were altogether unprofessional and in need of some people who are used to cutting hair for people who aren't 60 and above.

My husband purchased a gift card for me from Monet, which covered a facial and massage. I booked my appointment 3+ weeks out because I knew that in order to get an appointment during the week I would have to take half a day off work. I arrive just before my appointment time and am informed that they no longer have a masseuse. After asking why I wasn’t contacted they informed me that “they tried calling the number on file and weren’t able to leave a voicemail”. Well that’s odd, because we’ve had no issues with our phones. I go ahead and have the facial done (Remember, I’ve already taken off work to come to the spa which is 45 minutes from my house!) The facial was great and the lady that did it was very professional, which was the only highlight of this experience. Before leaving I ask about a refund on the rest of the gift certificate since they weren’t able to perform the services that my husband paid for and that I was looking forward to. The manager/owner/whoever she was quickly informed me that they do not give refunds but will have someone starting part time that will work on Thursdays and wants to know if this will work for me. This does not, as I work full time and had already taken off work to be there for my scheduled appointment. As I said I booked several weeks in advance and feel they should have made more of an effort to ensure they offered good customer service. My biggest frustration is I don’t feel that they really tried to contact me ahead of time. It shows a lack of professionalism and its bad business ethics. Also since I took off work I wasted my vacation time. At one time this was a good place to go, but those days are long gone.

I enjoy the services I receive there [although this past time, my manicure & pedicure turned out horrible] but they try to add on extra charges almost every time I go. Watch out for the extra charges, especially if you go in with a gift card, you can almost always expect to have to bring your pocket book even though you've spent a fortune on the gift card/package.

My Mother is going through Chemo therapy and we heard that Monet has Wigs for cancer patients its a new thing their doing. I have to say this shop is just amazing they have everything you need and they are always improving. To see the joy and laughter in my mothers eyes again was just so pleasing she looked like herself again. Go to Monet they are WONDERFUL!!!

DURING MOTHERS DAY MY HUSBAND GOT MY MOTHER-IN-LAW AND I A PACKAGE FROM MONET. IT WAS A HOUR MASSAGE, HOUR FACIAL, SPA MANICURE, AND SPA PEDICURE WITH PARAFFIN WAX. IT WAS SO REALAXING WE GOT TO SPEND TIME TOGETHER AND JUST BOND. I THINK ALL DADS, HUSBANDS, FIANCEES, BOYFRIENDS SHOULD GET THERE BETTER HALFS A PACKAGE FROM MONETS.....

For everday beauty and just needing to get pampered I go to Monet. I just love it there everybodys so nice, and professional.

I have so many friends that have gone to Monet, and every single one of them always come back telling me how great their visits were. I decided to go there myself, and see if I could brag to them about my experiance. Let me tell you I bragged, and bragged. I loved my experiance at Monet I will definitely be going back.

Last week I had my prom and I went to Monets. I took a picture of the hair style I wanted, and the lady that did my hair was Kathy. I have to say she did an excellent job I think that she did a better job then the picture in the magazine. I also had Paula do my makeup you wouldnt belive me unless you tried them out for yourself, but I looked amazing. I flet like I was the Bell of the Prom. I had so many compliments these ladies are really good I noticed alot of other stylist that did really good jobs. I honestly think that all the girls that left that day flet like Princesses. Take my word for it and TRY out Monets!!!

Sautrday was my prom I went to monets to have my hair done, and the lady that did it was awesome she did such a great job. I have always had to have my mother fix something or do something, because they didnt pin it tight enough or didnt spray it enough, but not this time it was PERFECT! I recommand anyone that has a special event to go to; go see the ladies at Monets.

I had an event to go to, and needed to have a little color. A firend told me about Monets, and that they had spary tanning. I called, made an appointment to have this done and I was very pleased. I was told that the tan would last between 7 and 10 days. Mine lasted 9, everytime I need a little color I go to Monets.

Getting a gift certificate from a friend to go to Monets was one of the greatest gifts I've recieved. You've really got to go and try them out!! They have everything you need to relax. I chose to use my gift certificate on a Microdermabrasion facial it helped give me smoother, and softer skin. I could really feel the difference the attention my face got was incredible i felt like a new person. I recommand everyone getting a facial.

Last week I had a Day Of Beauty at Monets it was GREAT... I had the most relaxing day ever. I started off sitting in the sauna, moved on to the jacuzzi, ah they were so relaxing. After that I went to have my hour massage I relaxed to soft music, and enjoyed a swedish massage. Then had a hour facial my skin felt so good, and clean. Afterwards I ate lunch that they provided. Then I had my hair shampooed, styled, and had mineral powder makeup put on. To finish my day off I got a manicure and spa pedicure. Monets is the place to go if you want to get away and relax.. TRUST ME!!!!!
