I consider this gentleman to be a Master Mechanic! He's precise, does Great work, guarantees the work, & does it in a timely manner.
As an elderly woman I can say that the greatest benefit is his Integrity. He is Honest! I was convinced that my transmission was shot, & needed a new one. He could have just put a new one in. Better yet, he could've done the repair, and charged me for a new one. He called and said, "I've got great news, the axle had came lose from the transmission, it was a simple fix." It was less than $100.
All mechanics are not necessarily effective Diagnosticians. You can devastate, or empty your bank account as they throw parts at your problem, trying to figure it out. Not this man. His years of experience have made him a Top Notch Diagnostician. And if he's not sure, he'll tell you so.
