Water Pollution Control is a department that administers and maintains water quality tests and maintains wastewater treatment plants and sewers. Water Pollution Control works under the government of the City of Anderson, Ind., which operates various departments. The City of Anderson maintains a storm water management department that develops, implements, operates and funds the acquisition, construction, operation maintenance and regulation of storm water collection and drainage systems. It also operates an air management department that regulates air quality issues and is responsible for asbestos removal.
