Arthritis
Psoriatic Arthritis: In addition to inflamed, scaly skin, psoriatic arthritis causes pitted, discolored nails and swollen, painful joints that are typical of arthritis. It can also lead to inflammatory eye conditions such as conjunctivitis. Symptoms range from mild to severe. Although the disease usually isn’t as crippling as other forms of arthritis, it can cause stiffness and progressive joint damage that in the most serious cases may lead to permanent deformity.
Cryotherapy
An SK lesion is generally harmless, but if it becomes unsightly, itchy, or irritated from rubbing against clothing, you may choose to have it removed.Removal methods include cryotherapy, shave biopsy, laser surgery, curettage, and cautery. Regardless of the technique used, however, the results are permanent — after removal, new growth will not reform in its place. The skin may appear a bit lighter temporarily, but should gradually return to its natural tone.
Medical Weight Loss
Pustular Psoriasis: This rare form of psoriasis can occur in widespread patches (generalized pustular psoriasis) or in smaller areas on your hands, feet, or fingertips. It generally develops quickly, with pus-filled blisters appearing just hours after your skin becomes red and tender. The blisters dry within a day or two but may reappear every few days or weeks. Mohs Surgery allows surgeons to examine and remove skin tissue using an intricate level of precision and control. During Mohs Surgery, cancerous tissue is removed and microscopically examined to be sure all the “roots” and extensions are eliminated while keeping as much healthy tissue intact as possible.Working at the microscopic level also results in minimal scarring, so Mohs Micrographic Surgery is also ideal for skin cancers on highly visible areas, such as the head and neck.

Acne Treatment
There are various factors that influence the type of acne treatment that is suitable for each individual, including the type of acne and the severity of your particular case. The right acne treatment can heal existing lesions, stop new lesions from forming, and prevent scarring. Treatments include a wide range of solutions like over-the-counter prescription topical agents, antibiotics, Accutane, or hormonal agents such as birth control. Lasers and cosmetic procedures can also be used in the treatment of acne, or in conjunction with traditional treatments.

Eczema
Eczema and dermatitis are used interchangeably to describe several varieties of inflamed, irritated skin. Acute dermatitis usually appears as a red rash that may be blistered or swollen. When dermatitis becomes chronic, the skin may become thickened, rough, and darker than the surrounding skin due to prolonged scratching.
Fungus
Tinea pedis, is a contagious fungus that thrives in warm and moist areas such as locker room floors, showers, or swimming pools. It gets its informal name because it occurs frequently when feet are sweaty feet in tight-fitting shoes, such as athletes’ feet. Once infected, the fungus typically begins spreading from between the toes.
Lesions
Seborrheic keratoses are skin growths that appear in adulthood, and although they may be large and grow quickly, they are benign. SKs initially appear as slightly raised, light brown spots and evolve into darker, thicker lesions with rough, warty surfaces.These types of growths are distinct, and doctors can often diagnose them by visual examination alone. Although there may be a link between levels of sun exposure and SK lesions, they’re most commonly tied to aging and genetics. Which is why you can find them anywhere on the body — even areas usually covered by clothing.
Chemical Peels
Because AKs are precancerous lesions and can progress to squamous cell carcinoma they should be treated by a Medical Provider. Treatment options include cryosurgery (freezing of the lesions), shave removal, scraping, laser surgery, chemical peels, BLU-U® Blue Light treatment, and photodynamic therapy (PDT). There are also several medications available for the treatment of AKs, and regimens may vary depending on the kind of medication prescribed.Your plan of care will be tailored to your unique situation, including age, the number and size of lesions, the success of any previous treatments, and personal preference.
