The company invents the formulations, develops the manufacturing processes, manufactures inks, coats film and converts master rolls into finished ribbons. International s ribbons are sold throughout the world through a variety of channels depending on the needs of the market being served. Founded in 1983 to produce thermal transfer ribbons under a technology license from Fujicopian of Osaka, Japan, International Imaging Materials primary manufacturing and distribution facilities are located in Amherst, New York, with additional manufacturing plants in Belgium and Brazil.
