Pure Air Specialist

I called them for cleaning furnace. As soon as technician came, he tried to sell me "Motor needs to be replaced" and "need new furnace". I appreciated the suggestions but said it would have to wait. His dispatcher got on phone, and tried to sell me again telling me Motor might release CO in the house and it's dangerous. I said it's under home warranty and if it breaks they'll replace it.
Technician cleaned furnace and left. A day later furnace stopped working. Called them asking to come back and check. Dispatcher starts cursing me out and calling me "Cheap Indian" and "Cheap Hindu" with threats to come and beat me.
I called my warranty people who send the technician and he found that power connection to the board was loose. Now after all the reselling attempt I believe it was on purpose. So I go and get Motor or new Furnace for them. Not only that, all the threat about CO leaking is not correct. If that happens furnace shuts down and we'll know right a way.
So just be-aware dealing with this people and better yet don't go through at all. There are lots of companies so why deal with Incompetent Racists.

I have been using Pure Air Specialists for our heating and cooling needs for the past 3 yrs now. They are always on time and the technicians are always properly company uniformed. This year we decided with my wife to swap out our 20+ yr old units with new ones. Pure Air was our first and only call that we needed. They came out gave us a very reasonably quote with a discount for being a returning customer. My wife to this day still reminds me of the shock she was in when Michael our sales rep came in gave us the quote (which was low in the first place.) and then quoted "You guys know what the best news is? You still get $470 back in rebates) That was pretty cool how he pointed it out after we received the quote and he knew the price was good in the beginning. Great guy with a great sense of humor. Thanks for the hard work

First off I would like to thank David and George for a fabulous installation job that they preformed at our home. They were very professional on the work and cleaned up after themselves. Thanks guys!!! Ok our Sales Representative was Michael a very nice and well informed gentleman with lots of knowledge on their Carrier products and services. He took the time to sit with us and explain the annual savings on the energy star products verse the standard equipment. He also explained to us to take the advantage of all the rebates and Federal tax credits that we were untitled to receive. (a total of $1150 THANKS MICHAEL) Hope your wife had a safe and healthy birth to your newborn Best Wishes to your family from ours. Overall I would just like to thank the whole staff at Pure Air Specialists for the fantastic job and I will keep them in mind for all my future heating and cooling needs.

Had my Air Ducts Cleaned out for the first time in 40+ Years and let me tell you what these guys got out. First of all the two technicians Jack and Andrew (You're the Best Guys) were very friendly and polite. They wore shoe protectors even after I said they don't have too. They took me through the ventilation system and showed me the inside. Then showed me how a system actually works and how everything is affected when your vents and system is clogged with dust. After 3 or so hours of brushing and scrubbing the vents down they took me down showed me the bags of dust they collected and the inside of the new ventilation. I was amazed that they could actually get all of it out. I feel the difference of the air flow it sure gets warmer faster and I can't wait to see the gas and electric bill cause those vents were ugly to begin with. I also referred them to my Mother and Cousin and they said the same thing about the Air Quality in the house.

Let me just start by saying these guys are the best. I recently had no heat in my home due to a furnace going out on me. I had a few service companies come out to my home in Highland, IN and inform me that i need a replacement on my furnace. But every company told me a different story with no real answer to why the furnace could not be fixed. (And I'm talking about the some of the big HVAC Companies in North West Indiana) So I saw an ad in the Coupon booklet from Pure Air Specialists Inc. I decided to call them. First of all the dispatcher was very kind and answered all my questions told me that they would find the solution to all the other companies findings. So I booked an appointment and the guy was out the same day. The technican's name David was well dressed in company uniform and well informed about everything that he saw with the furnace. Finally told me that all I needed was a gas valve and the coil cleaned out that was causing the restriction of air flow and causing it to over heat. No other company could figure this out, instead they all assumed that it needed to be replaced and had no explanation.



After going over a few good points that David pointed out like the age of the furnace and the furnace being oversized in the first place I got to thinking maybe it's better to go with a new one. David preformed a Heat Calculation on my home and showed me that the furnace I had now was 25,000 BTU's over from what I needed. Also showed me Rebates that the gas company offers on High Efficiency Units.



So I decided to see what numbers the company can provide me on a new unit. I did not tell them that I had prices on units from previous companies. Put as it showed all there numbers were alot cheaper than any of the others. Also better warranties and the best Equipment money can Buy (Carrier) I got a great deal and I was very happy with the new install. I recommended them to all my friends and family and they sent me a gift card for the referrals. I don't understand the bad review that was written on this site about Pure Air Specialists Inc they were only trying to keep you safe you should do your homework before judging a exhaust leak.



Sure the furnace will not start if the inducer motor doesn't work but when the furnace is working and your exhaust pipes are rusted don't you think you get the fumes inside your home. People please don't judge companies because you got screwed over by your home warranty insurance or your Real Estate Agent.



By the way B Indian there was a reason that you called Pure Air Specialists Inc out because you knew that there was a problem with your furnace otherwise why would you call.
