I absolutely love this bakery! My two little ones and I go there every Friday to have their cake pops to celebrate the weekend and everyone in there is awesome. The owner made an amazing cake for my boss to celebrate Hanukkah (there is no place to get something amazing to eat for Hanukkah in Plano). She made a special order cake that wasn't even on their menu! I am calling it great service. Their cupcakes are amazing, my favorite so far was the Boston Cream Pie and oh la la la...the Tres Leches cupcake! I have sampled them all. I almost forgot their sweet potato pie for the holidays...A MAZ ING! I love this place!

First thing I notice when I walk in is the wonderful aroma coming from the back kitchen. I see I have plenty of choices like cupcakes, cookies, brownies and cakeballs. I ask if they bake fresh every morning and use real butter. "Of course!" the lady behind the counter says. After I bit into a molten cupcake, I knew she wasn't lying! Their cupcakes are amazing, and I will definitely be coming back for more!

HORRIBLE SERVICE! HORRIBLE CUPCAKES! I ordered 12 assorted cookies, 3 brownies and 6 cupcakes from Haute Mama 4 days ahead of time. The next day I received a call from one of the employees and she refused to make all the cookies I wanted and told me that if I wanted a brownie I would have to order an entire dozen. She also told me that all 6 of the cupcakes I wanted would absolutely, without a doubt be in stock and ready for me. I changed my order to 1 dozen brownies, 2 chocolate chip cookies and 6 cupcakes. 4 days later when I arrived to pick up my treats only the 1 dozen brownies and 2 cookies were ready. They had completely forgot about my cupcakes and despite what the employee on the phone told me, they only had 2 of the 6 cupcakes I wanted despite the 4 days notice. The cookies were not very good - if you want a good cookie try Paradise Bakery instead. The vanilla cupcake I had was supposed to have buttercream icing - any fan of cupcakes knows that buttercream icing is not supposed to have cream cheese in it. For some reason Haute Mama puts cream cheese in their buttercream icing - DISGUSTING! The chocolate cupcake I had was small and inedible. I thought I ordered the chocolate fudge icing, but this was more like sugar with brown dye. The best cupcakes I've had in Dallas are at Meringue Bakery - they know exactly what cupcakes and frosting are supposed to taste like. The brownies were just okay. They don't look very appetizing and if you call the brownies Chocolate "Fudge" brownies then they really should have fudge on them. They should not be drizzled in faux fudge or ganache. I will never go to Haute Mama again - PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY, YOUR TIME OR YOUR CALORIES ON THIS PLACE.

Bought an Ad Pages coupon on 3/10/11. Granted, it expired on 5/31/10, but not only did they say I couldn't use it, they wouldn't even let me use the part that I paid for, the actual $10. I believe that in Texas, you have to honor the "non-promotional" portion of any ad that's bought. Look at the fine print in Groupon, Living Social, etc., and only the "promotional value" expires.



If it's my business, I honor the coupon, or at least half. They just lost a customer, we'd planned on coming in for dessert today. Not any more.

This bakery is outstanding-they use only the finest ingredients & no short cuts are taken! No shortening is used & everything is so fresh & made on a daily basis! If you are looking for a quality bakery you have to visit Haute Mama-you will not disappointed!
