- Located at Alhambra, Calif., The Los Angeles Railroad Heritage Foundation is a nonprofit educational corporation engaged in promoting the history of railroading. Established in 1999 as California Corporation, the foundation preserves and presents the history of railroading in Los Angeles through its programs, including public outreach, archival preservation and media publishing. The Los Angeles Railroad Heritage Foundation designs exhibits at restaurant based locations around the Southland. The Los Angeles Railroad Heritage Foundation also offers Boy Scout railroading merit badge programs.
