Dr. Durante and his staff always treat us to a professional, comprehensive and caring experience. From illness or injury to preventative, no one could take better care of our dogs and us than Algonquin Animal Clinic!

Durante essentially told me I may have a bad dog due to a small growl released during a shot. She is 9 weeks old. She has never once growled at a dog, cat, or person-all of which she has met plenty of- in any circumstance. She was very sweet with the vet and staff before and immediately after the shot. That part was not acknowledged. The staff is rude. The previous vet I was seeing at the Algonquin Animal Clinic was amazing and took care of my previous dog with excellent care and compassion. My previous dog was scared of the vet visits but the sweetest dog otherwise (including with the vet after the shots) and the vet acknowledged that. Never once would she have said something like Durante and his staff did. It's too bad he didn't live up to her level of care, understanding, and knowledge. I will never take my dog, or any other pet, there again.

Dr. Durante has/is the only vet that we will use. He treats our pets as if they were his own. He and the staff have always been very kind and caring with our dogs and cats, and always know them by name. I would not go to any other!

Durante found kidney problems in my dog and did nothing. She died.Durante injected my turtle with vitamins. He died.Durante did unneeded testing on my pets. So sad.
