We needed new furniture for our new house, I had been shopping around at different stores, I was so excited when I went to Homelife and saw their great prices! We wanted our furniture delivered within 2-3 weeks, so we choose from what they said they could deliver that quickly. Well when delivery day came, I got a call, our master bedroom set would be delayed by a couple of weeks, but they could deliver everything else. Not happy, but I agreed, we needed furniture! 2 weeks passed, we called.I was told it is delayed again by 2 maybe 3 weeks! I was angry! We were clear of the time frame we wanted our furniture! I feel like they lied just to make the sale! 2 mo. later, I'm supposed to get it delivered sometime this week. Got my fingers crossed, but I'm not holding my breath! Should have just went to Ashley! o_O

My husband took our grandson to this store to pickout a new bedroom set. They came home and showed me a picture of a Blue Bedroom Set. This did not go over well. My husband had already paid but had not set up a delivery date. He went back to the store 2 days later and asked for a refund because we had decided to look around before we made a final decision. They would NOT refund his money and they wanted to charge him a 30% restock fee although we had not received or scheduled a time or date for delivery. They would only give him store credit. Of course, what we are looking for they do not have so now we feel as if we are forced to buy something they do not have. I would not recommend this store to my friends or my enemies.

I went in to Home Life in order to purchase a new couch set and bed set. Freddy came out and was very helpfull. We picked out the couches and the bed set and set up a time to have them delivered. The day they were delivered I was at work while my wife was at the house. One of the delivery guys decided he want to flirt with my wife and hit on her. He went as far as to ask her for her phone number. When I got home from work and found out about the incident the store was already closed. I called the manager, Tom, the first thing the next day. Tom said he would handle it and get back to me. Today, 3 days after the incident, I got a call from Freddy asking for some more information because they were having trouble identifying the individual who did it. Tom has still not contacted me back. I have lots of management experience and know for a fact that when you have something delivered to someone's house, you know who delivered it. Especially with a small company like this. There were two delivery guys, what is so hard about figuring out which one is the culprit. They should have had this situation handled already, but like everyone else has said on here, they don't get back to you. The service here is starts out great but once they get the sale they couldn't care any less about you as a customer. Stay away from these guys!!!!

Well I had been searching for a furniture place for a long time and I decided to ask friends where they shopped... they reffered me to Homelife I had never heard of the place!! I decided to take a look and OMG they have great sales people, they helped me right away and they were very patient , Im a very Picky person and its hard to make up my mind about what I buy... But there stuff was awesome so many to look at!! Also catalogs to look at just in case you dont find something you like in display!! I cant wait till I get my stuff deliver AAAAHHHHH!!!

Im very upset with the service we had received from Hilife, the first time we went in the store they said, ''We can match your price'' they gave us a awesome price, so a couple weeks later we went in to order!!! after we left the store, we got a phone call.. saying they gave us the wrong price! and they didn't add on the bed rails!! when I order the bed set you would think we needed that, she said 30.00 more okay. 2wks passed by so I called! was on hold for 20mins, they couldn't find my ppwrk, finally they said it was on back oder, I said the girl told us all the items were in... So it was going to be another 2wks! the day finally comes, They deliver to us after the trouble we had! the items were damaged, not all the items were there, they said for the frame 42.00 after the girl said 30.00, can't get a refund! our daughter was sad!! shes been waiting all month for her new bed set... so her room is empty with a head board and night stand!!! its going to be another 7-10 days before her chest comes in!!! They didn't have good PR, they mis quoted us etc.........so in reality we really didn't save money going to them and not Ashley furniture, the product looks cheap, this doesn't look like what we say at Ashley's, it was a better quality! They seem real similar to Valley Furniture.......... the customer service was terrible. I will not ever go there.. I rather spend a little more for a better quality, and better service!!

This was my second time purchasing furniture from this store. First time everything went well. Although, the employees didn't seem like they really knew what they were doing. Second time I went I bought a complete bedroom set paid in full with cash on day one, furniture was delivered two weeks later and I was missing a storage piece for under the bed ( I thought I was getting two for the price I paid, but only got one) when I spoke with the sales man he told me he knew that it only came with one unless I bought two, but didn't mention this when we bought it originally. I checked MY order receipt from the sales man's copy and it seems that after I paid and SIGNED the paperwork, and LEFT the store, the sales man wrote a 1 next to the quantity of how many under bed storage units to order. He forged the document after I left to cover his own rear. I thought I got two for the price I paid and once he realized he screwed up, he tried to cover it up. I called the manager and he told me he was sorry for the mix up, but I would have to pay to get another one. Nevermind that you employees are scam artists. They do have good prices on their furniture but I don't know that I'll ever buy from them again with this last transaction in mind. Good luck.
