JG Burner Service

I called Jeff about a furnace cleaning, no rush about it just wanted it done. Two weeks later he called me back and scheduled a time to come out. Jeff called me from the house and said my furnace was a "mess" many many problems that would cost a lot of money to fix. The furnace was working fine and I had it cleaned a few years back by another company who did not have a service man anymore. I thanked him for his time and said I would look someplace else to have my furnace serviced. He used words that included, "dangerous, blow up, unsafe". I own many properties around the New England area and I knew the furnace was not in bad shape. I called another service person who actually delivers oil to the house and they just hired a full time service man with 30 years experience. They scheduled a time to come out and clean my furnace. The next business day I called the company and asked if I could pay my bill over the phone and the wonderful woman said yes and broke down the bill for me, very reasonable cleaning plus a small part that needed to be replaced. My shock was when she said some guy named Jeff called us and said that the furnace had all kinds of problems and they should stay away form it. Yes, this surprised me. The very experienced furnace guy from the company that delivers my oil found NOTHING WRONG. J G burner SVC is a joke. Jeff is looking to rip you off. I hope this post saves someone some money and by the way the company that gave me great service was Reliable oil and propane.
