Summer House Apartments

i have never wrote review before but after this bad experience with summer houses apt I have decided give PEOPLE warning red flag. Me and my husband were trying get 2 bedrooms over there. First they were pressuring for needed documents within 72 hours and they took week and half to review our application negative results. We lost not only $105 as fee but 2 weeks total as time we had waited for them to respond. They put wrong addresses to verification as we current live in same address which was not true. Results get back false. I have been trying to be flexible and explained that it was mistake but they were NO! We can not let you move in coz we lie about addresses! Finally after speaking with manager millions hours on the phone I convinced "on side" to run verification again. Is separate company who run verifications. Results come back that we have been telling truth all this time and this was their mistake! One week gone already! We both showed income 3 times grater then rent, perfect credit score ( mine is 754 his almost 700 ) and positive references from past landlords. It took them another week to decide if we are going to move in or not. Finally they said NO because my husband had misdemeanor 8 years ago! He had never get problem getting any job, apt for last past years! I am upset with working stuff there as well! The only sweet girl working there is Reina! Other people were disrespectful, they put me on hold when I was trying call them and ask whats up and phone was disconnected and they never called back! How disrespectful is this to clients who trying rent apt. My thought was what if I would living there and there is some issue with apt? General I am giving them less then one star! Awful place to deal with!

April 23 2011 someone murdered!!!!

2011 my car stolen in my parking place!

2012 today ,10-26-2012 my car has been towed even the parking permit on it and i had to pay $370 for tow!!!

Tow Company is in San Leandro st in Oakland ( you dont even want to walk during the day in that area). Manager of the tow company threatened to key my car and he refused the scratches during the tow.

there is no difference living in here or east oakland......i am moving out a, s soon as i can.

DO NOT LET THE RENT PRICE FOOL YOU....THIS PLACE IS NOT GOOD FOR ANYONE. GHETTO PEOPLE, SMELLS WEED ALL THE TIME, NO PARKING AROUND..... I WOULD FIND 10 MORE REASONS NOT TO STAY IN HERE.....
