Dental Examination
X-rays
Digital x-rays are the newest technology used in dentistry to take and archive dental x-rays. Digital x-rays significantly reduce the amount of radiation exposure, as compared to traditional dental x-rays. This technique captures a digital picture of your teeth and their supporting bone structures and stores the images on our office’s secure computer system. You and Dr. Greico will be able to instantly view and enlarge your x-rays to aid in the identification of dental problems and to gauge your overall dental health. Dr. Greico will then use this information to create an individualized treatment plan for you.
Oral Cancer Screening
Nobody wants to hear that they may have oral cancer. Although it can be fatal, it is easier to treat the earlier it is caught. For this reason, we are proud to assist our patients with an oral cancer screening. We want to help our patients survive this often fatal disease.

Teeth Cleaning
The first step in getting rid of gum disease is a regular dental cleaning. After that, we will perform scaling and root planing. This is a special cleaning that removes plaque and tartar from under the gumline and smoothes the root surfaces to promote healing. In most cases, if you receive scaling and root planing and resume regular oral care, your gum disease will resolve.

Fillings
Resin Composite
Dental fillings are used to fill cavities and repair cracked or broken teeth. Fillings can be done with gold, porcelain, or silver amalgam, but is most commonly done with materials called composite resin fillings that are designed to match the color of your teeth.
Veneers
Veneers are thin shells intended to cover the front side of teeth to hide stains, chips, decay, or irregularities. A dental technician uses a model created by a dentist to make a custom shell out of specials materials.
Crowns
A tooth can lose its normal shape and size for a variety of reasons. A crown covers your tooth to help restore its original shape and size. Crowns can also be used to make teeth stronger and look better.
Bridges
Bridges can be removable or fixed. Removable bridges can be taken out and cleaned by patients, whereas fixed bridges have to be removed by a dentist. Bridges can be implanted to the jaw or under the gums. With so many options, it is important to consult with your dentist about which type of bridge is best for you.
Dental Bonding
Dental bonding is the procedure where we apply a tooth colored plastic material to a patient’s tooth. Using a special light, the material hardens and bonds the material to the tooth.

Root Canal Treatment
When infection damages the pulp of the tooth your dentist or an endodontist may have to perform root canal therapy to save your tooth.

Deep Cleaning

Dentures
Bridges can solve the issue of missing teeth. Similar to dentures, bridges replace gaps in your smile with artificial teeth. Bridges can be made from a variety of materials including porcelain, gold, and alloys.

Outside of private practice, Dr. Brambert also currently serves in the Army National Guard as a dentist. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
