Savers Thrift Stores

I used to love shopping at this store but their prices are getting way out of control. Scrub tops they're charging $10 dollars each. The only way they are selling them would be a 50% off sale. They have had some of the same tops for months. Do you realize some of these tops are cheap $18 tops? Used skirt prices went from averaging a month ago $5.99 to $10.00. A fake Michael Kors handbag was marked $46.00. I saw a cute non-designer dress and thought about getting it before I saw the $20 tag. Men's shirts are getting right down redicious in price average about $14.00 each. Do you realize you can pay that brand new at JC Penny's with their sales on Saint John Bay, Marshalls, TJ Max. Your going Start seeing production drop if you don't get your pricing under control which will greatly effect your overhead and your ability to keep employees.

i cant believe some of these reviews! people complaining clothes are cheap? or not cleaned? ive been shopping savers for years, & from my experience people dont donate dirty items. they donate when they clean theyre closets out, so theyre clean. i shop there every week, i get all my clothes there, my kid's clothes, & all my mom's clothes there. true, there's a lot of not-so-great stuff, but if u look through the whole rack, your'e sure to find something good. i got my Burberry Trench for $19.99 & my UGGS for $24.99. it beats paying $600 for the trench in the store or $200 for the Uggs. and the salespeople at this store are just the nicest around. i'm going there today cuz i'm in the mood to find a FABULOUS designer item. not sure what yet, but i'll find it. lol. and the air conditioning is always nice & cool to shop in.

Now, completely and utterly RIDICULOUS.....It should be called the 5.99 used T-Shirt store, or if it looks new, everything 9.99-14.99 store....Most of the items are found new at 0ff-retail department stores for the same prices, and without stains...If it has a Red Sox or Yankees emblem on it, forget about it, they charge more than when it was brand new in most cases, they dont know what they are doing in the pricing...When the store 1st opened it was reasonable, especially since they get the stuff for free, now they still get it for free but they think its Gold all of the sudden. I used to go every other day, now maybe once a month. Went the other day for the 1st time in a while, had a couple things in my hand to buy, but saw so many outrageous prices on other things, I just put the 2 things back and left, I was shocked at what the store has become. While shopping I heard random complete strangers laughing at some of the prices, thats the God's honest truth.....thats my experience, hope it helps. By the way, East Providence is the same way, I do not go there anymore either because they operate the same way.....They should smarten up, especially in this economy, too many other choices for the consumer to buy new stuff....
