Ak Food Store

I have never been so deeply humiliated and in my 52 years of life.

After spending a wonderful day at New Smyrna beach with my family I decided to purchase a few FL lottery tickets and stopped by the AK Food Store. I asked the clerk for a FL Lottery Lucky Money and Mega Million ticket, and a lottery scratch off ticket. The clerk printed the correct FL lottery tickets but pulled the wrong scratch off ticket from the case and placed them all on the counter. I explained that he removed the wrong scratch off ticket. The clerk picked up the tickets from the counter and stepped over to the case to select the ticket that I wanted. He then stepped back to the counter and said he had given me the scratch off ticket that I said wasn’t the one that I wanted. I adamantly denied that he had given me the scratch off ticket and explained that he put it back in the case. He accused me of lying. Astounded I turned my shorts pockets inside out to show that I did not have a ticket in my pocket, nor did I carry a purse in the store. There was nowhere on my person to hide a ticket and I never waked away from the clerk.

Never again will I shop at this store. Customer Service at its worst!
