For the last month and half, I have had nothing but trouble with their services. It started off with all 3 services (Cable, Internet & Phone). When the internet is out, so is the phone 99% of the time. The cable would freeze, or turn into a black screen and DVR would record a selective amount of what it was supposed to record. Then Internet would freeze, lock out or show 'Could not display' when you get online. They first ask you to unhook this and that...and reboot this and that....unplug this wire and plug in that, etc. Sorry, didn't know I turned into a technician! It isn't very easy acess to our wires so it was quite the hassle especially since it happened about 3, 4 or 5 times a week. Finally when I refused to keep sqeezing behind my computer stand did they send someone out. It worked for about 10 hours and had problems again! So..next day I called back and couldnt send someone out for 2 days! When they came out, same thing happened, it worked for so many hours before being out of service again. (keeping in mind, phone is usually out when internet is, so have a cell handy so you can rack up your cell minutes with them!) All this trouble and a month later I said I wanted compensated for all this trouble esp. because it is still giving me trouble and I have online classes so it was a huge inconvenience- so they compensated me a little over $3. yes..that's right, $3 for all that. I had switched from ATT because I had horrible experiences with them over billing errors on their part and after they took money out of my grandparents checking account without their permission , disconnected a friends services a hand full of times because of errors on their part and also disconnected my mothers phone service a week BEFORE she got her current bill (never late paying the bill) and then having 'accidental' charges on my bill, I switched to TWC. I'm not sure which is worse. If I can find another service provider for the 3 services, I will be switching ASAP. But be warned- these people are horrible providers. You pay them over $100 a month for 3 services and can only use them a portion of the time! And if you don't have a cell, plan on not having communication a lot. so for anyone who depends on a phone for any emergencies- get some sort of cell phone (even pre-paid) as back-up just incase!
