Intro to College Moving: 101 »
We've put together a small list to get you started on your journey -- and the first step starts with a single box.
Very affordable, close to campus and all seven hospitals, 24 hour Kroger within three city blocks- the old manager is gone and the new people have a full 24 hr staff. One employee has a degree in plumbing and was "Mr. Kentucky" in the world of college plumbing students two years running and placed in the top ten nation wide at Skills America both years- so their plumbing is all newer and even the drains have been replaced. One employee has a two year degree in HVAC and that is a big plus with me- not having to wait to get an a/c fixed They have been renovating for six months now and these are nice apartments with big picture windows in the living rooms and lots of great oak trees and green grass. I love it!!!!!!!! I am living here in a new condo quality where the manager teaches "quiet enjoyment" so my neighbors are very quiet or they get to leave. The manager does enforce the "rules" and I am a rule follower. The buildings are "non smoking" and my kids lungs do benefit as well. great home!!!!!
Dont be fooled. Lack of customer service AFTER you stay over a year will change your mind. The apartments are falling apart and the maintenance crew cannot seem to fix anything right. They lose records, dont inform you when packages arrive, and enter your apartment monthly with or without warning. They even have admitted they came to the "wrong" apartment with me before! They stopped landscaping and the place looks so rundown now. Bring the flowers back please and work on your customer service! I stay because I cannot afford to move at this time. AND, once they get you for a year, they WILL jack your rent up ALOT. They have even lost some financial information for my account. Very sad tenant because I used to love it here as well! I complained ONE TIME about the lack of ability for the maintenance crew to fix something (it was the 3rd or 4th time they TRIED to fix it)...ever since then, they have treated me poorly. :(
We moved in here last week from the UK apartments & is satisfied with the overall experience. Erwin, Debbie, Andrew, Loius & a few more are a very helpful & supportive staff & crew taking care of the property. At times, You will find them working at 10:00 in the night too. Erwin is readily available on his phone at any point of time & eager to assist any time you're in need. They keep their promises. It's also a good neighborhood for children with a Kids play area at the center & kids club organizing fun activities this summer. Also the proximity to Kroger & stores on Southland Rd. & Nicholasville Rd makes it a convenient location to reside. It's a calm & peaceful community except for the train tracks behind where goods trains pass by constantly making it a bit noisy at times.
I agree with the comments below! This place is really a great place to live! When I moved to Lexington, I looked and looked for weeks and when I came to Bridle Creek, I fell in love with it. I love all the people here and I really like living across from the mall. I know it sounds a little crazy, but I work across the street!
Def not the Hilton, but come on you know that when you lease here. I love my apartment, have the new carpet. I lived down the street at steeple chase, paid more and my apartment was worse. Never had a problem with laundry, i just go to another building if it is full. Def saved me money, cant be the location and price.
I live here, never had any problems it's nice and quiet and since the old manager left they are fixing it up and they even spray for roaches every month. Bills are included and its in a really good location so I can get everywhere even though I don't have a car.
Just moved to Lex two weeks ago, wanted to be near Hamburg and the interstate. Apartment is nice, didn't want to have to pay for stuff I didn't use. Will maybe use the pool but doubt it, never have time except for work sadly. I would suggest living here.
I was exhausted looking for a place to live. I just happen to stumble on this place and I am glad I did. I haven't had any problems, for the price its a great deal. I don't feel rent poor every month LOL! I would recommend these apartments.
I can say that as far as bugs go, I've barely seen any. Though, I've seen two centipedes, and.. gross.. Bugs are everywhere, though. If you can handle dumb management, RPM management (cambridge park apartments) is perfect for you
Great place to live! Love the office staff and I think the new management is getting everything worked out. I know the other person was unhappy, but I haven't had any of the same issues, so hopefully its all a thing of the past!
