The staff is friendly, but make sure your animal is perfectly behaved because they will label them aggressive for barking at them when they do a fecal exam. God forbid, don't muzzle them to try and keep them from being vocal because they just assume it is because you are afraid they will bite them. The dog they labeled as aggressive is the sweetest and most social dog that I have. I have been a customer for 12 years and we have had a few bumps along the way, but I was always willing to overlook it because of how nice their staff is - This is the last straw though. I will find someone that my animals are not judged and labeled as aggressive for not being on perfect behavior.

Our 12 years old dog was in severe distress on a Sunday morning. She had terminal cancer and I knew she was critically ill. She had long outlived the time she had been given. We had visited the ER in Jacksonville on prior occasions but 4 Paws had an emergency service and was closer to our location on Amelia Island. We called the emergency service and Dr. Arbo (Jason) met us at the facility. The facility had state of the art technology, was large, clean and well kept. No words can describe the compassion, care and attention we received. My sweet dog Bingo past away that day. But the kindness, patience and care she received was unparalleled. I cannot thank Dr. Arbo (and Melissa the intern) for helping Bingo pass in a loving and dignified way. I will take my other pets there now for any issues the next time we vacation there.

4 Paws Pet Clinic literally saved our dogs life. Another vet diagnosed our dog with pancreatitis and he wasn't getting better. We took him here and Dr. Norstrud recommended surgery. It turned out he has a large amount of what appeared to be carpet or a rug in his stomach. I do believe that he was a day or two away from dying and she saved his life. I am so thankful and would recommend this vet to everyone.

Any type of care you need is done in an extremely professional manner with lots of love. I drive 30 miles to take my pets because they are simply the best!

If I were an animal/pet, I hope my owners would take me to the Pet Care Center of Nassau.
