Seniors Beware! The 'Managers' here are very unprofessional...And: They work for each other, and protect each others backs against resident complaints - On them...- Yup, they all belong to the same family! The 'Sister' is the Manager, the 'Brothers' are the Maiantance guys...and yes, the 'Mom' lives here too....'Seniors' are supposed to be in a protected group / class here in California - But not here...So what happened? After I had bought a home here, I filed a complaint on one of the maiantance guys - Who, one night while he was drunk, I was walking my dog, and he yelled and screamed at me from a two story building: OMG - I had accidently touched a blade of the Managers Grass! Then he retaliated on my complaint by telling a neighbor that I was 'Stealing from the managers shed' - No proof of coarse, no police report...Defamation, Slander, - And Terrorist Threats...Don't buy - or Rent - a mobile home from this Park!
The food is amazing! My favorite is the chicken pot pie and my husband's favorite is the Stilton cheese appetizer. The drinks come in ice cold pewter cups. When you walk through the door everything is right out of the 1700's. Huge fireplace, live music, candles at the tables. This is our favorite place to go.
Compare to other motels in this small city of Yucaipa, Sunset motel is the best...Nice, cozy, clean and safe to stay there....

Well, if the stay is anything like the customer service over the phone, it wouldn't be pleasant! The employee did not identify himself or the business (I thought I had dialed the wrong number). The strong hispanic accent made phone conversation somewhat challenging. He was abrupt and unfriendly. He informed me that they do not allow room reservations over the phone, but they don't have a functional website, either. Dirt cheap for a single person at 59 bucks plus tax, but the streetside picture isn't compelling, nor was the introductory experience with motel personnel. I'm going to be staying elsewhere during my visit to Yucaipa.
Was basically lied to. I was told I wasn't able to rent because of 2 bad reviews from previous landlords. Needless to say, I called my previous landlords to find out why they would give me a bad tenant review and they said David was flat out lying. They did not give me a bad tenant review. He then refused to take my calls or call back.
Basically stole our deposit and fabricated lies at the end after we moved out to keep our $1650 deposit. Do not do business with these crooks! They have a policy of doing two walk-throughs (inspections), one while we were there and one after we moved out. The first walk-through we did had just a couple of minor incidents on it, but after we moved out it seems they went through the trouble to fabricate everything they could think of including replacing insulation in the garage, replacing the sink disposal and said we left the place filthy... which is an utter lie seeing how it took us 2 weeks of cleaning before we actually moved out. The place was in better condition than when we moved in. If we had to do it all over again I would steer clear of this business entirely. They will take you for your money whether you like it or not. You have been warned.
The business plan is to allow special treatment to tenants where they( Hometown) appear to have some type of 'special' relationship. I recently had a tenant move out and Hometown's field rep. did ALL that he could to relieve this tenant of her contractual responsibilities.Very un-proferssional and leaning towards unethical. Do not trust this management company. They will NOT look after your ( landlord) best interest.
Communication with this place is a joke. I was a tenant for 6 years 2010-16. Every time I called the office no one was there to answer. The manager was busy or out, the other guy was out, they would take a message and NEVER get back to me. I went in person to the office to speak with the manager. He took three notes on what I had to say then doodled the rest of the time. He didn't have an ounce of customer service, even rolling his eyes, the whole time I tried to talk to him. I even asked him at one point you look like you don't want to talk to me. I was so offended by how he just brushed us off. As a manager, it is part of the job to help resolve customer complaints, not ignore concerns and emotions. I understand that they do not own the properties, just manage them, but seriously. I do not feel like they care for their tenants. Bottom line I was not happy, I would never ever ever want to live somewhere managed by Allied again. I do not recommend them.
