I wouldn't buy anything from this place again. They sold my fiance a used zero turn mower. He test drove it and it seemed to be working fine. They told him it was a 2012 and then after he paid and they gave him the manuals for it the manuals showed it was a 2007. He still decided to keep it and after several uses it stopped working completely. When he called about it they wanted $30 to look at it then give him an estimate and were extremely condescending on the phone. What a joke. The owner is a liar and scam artist who basically sold us a lemon. I believe in supporting small businesses but places like this who lie to and cheat their customers disgust me!!

July 30, 2016Without question or hesitation, I can tell you that my experience w/ Agnew Lawn & Tractor was one of the worst experiences that I’ve had in my entire 69 years of existence. My advice to anyone contemplating going to Agnew’s for service work is to stay as far clear of that zone as you possibly can.I carefully documented the full extent of my Agnew experience and sent my concerns to the business owner, Mr. John Agnew on July 23. You can read the letter at the link below. After waiting one week of to see if I might get a professional and empathetic response (and, of course, receiving nothing), I posted this letter for anyone to read and began, in earnest, to post a link to the letter on available media channels specializing in business/customer service reviews.Need help w/ your lawn equipment? Thinking Agnew might be a solution?Think again.http://tinyurl.com/go8h2hv
Agnews lawn equipment very has bad policy. they wouldn't return the piston rings but that didn't match my motor with out making me pay a restocking fee for the parts that did not fit. There was 0 error on my part... I showed pictures of the motor info plate, I know for the fact that the motor was never opened up before. the error could only lie on agnews or Briggs and stratton.... For a company in sales they do not treat customers fairly due to a pure greed policy. I will never go there again... and I refuse to pay a fee for something I did not screw up.
