Extremely disappointed and concerned that the Woodlands is in business. Unprofessional and very understaffed. I can only assume this is acceptable only because it's in Youngstown. I do not recommend.
I had my father at Woodland Hampton's in skilled and Rehab. I was very disappointed in the place. My father was a dialysis patient and was on a renal diet. We had to keep telling the nurses what he couldn't eat even though the Dialysis Center sent them orders for it. When my dad fell on a Sat. --come Monday We had a meeting with rehab and staff and they didn't even know he fell. We had to keep telling staff that my mother was not the contact person because she had passed 3 years ago and they still had her name on his papers as a contact person. No one communicates with each other about their patients!! There might have been a handful of nice friendly nurses who actually would smile back at you. Laundry was to done for him and after 2 weeks we finally told them he had no clean clothes left, they washed 1 time we washed the rest of the time. On the day he was discharged we kept telling the nurse that Dialysis Center changed 2 of his medicines and they faxed over the orders 2 weeks ago and she kept telling us she never got them. Before we left the fax was found out of nowhere!! We asked the nurse to put a new dressing on his foot because it was falling off---and that really upset her!! Would I recommend this place ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!
