Established in 1923, the Boardman Fire Department is a volunteer organization that prevents the loss of life and property and provides emergency services to the citizens and visitors of Boardman Township , Ohio. It operates three fire stations and covers an area of approximately 25 square miles. The Boardman Fire Department handles various emergencies, including structural fires and hazardous material mitigations, as well as rescues and catastrophes. It s staff is comprised of firefighters and volunteers who offer fire suppression and extrication services and respond to other emergency situations in the township and surrounding areas. The department also provides fire prevention and education and emergency medical services, as well as conducts fire and arson investigations. It has achieved a Class 5 rating from the International Organization for Standardization. The Boardman Fire Department is located in Boardman, Ohio.
