        Overall

        Yorkville JiffyLube caused $2800 worth of damage to my husband's turbo engine.



        On or about 6/8, he went there for an oil change. The next day he noticed a bit of oil under his car and took it back to them to be corrected. They were running low on oil that day (really? How bad are things there when the oil change place is running low on oil?) so they put a vacuum on the engine to hold the oil up while they fixed the leak they caused, which pulled the seals out of his turbo. The car now smokes, loses oil, and we haven't driven it for the past month fearing further damage to it and causing us to have to pay for a rental.



        The owner has been nowhere to be found and corporate has yet to call us back.



        We will be taking them to court to try to recover the cost of getting his car operational again along with the rental costs. I recommend going to Tuffy in Yorkville or Suburban Tire on Orchard north of 34.
