GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We've have tried alot of seafood places , but this one has all of them beat! The food is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Everything we ever tried is exceptionally good. The flounder is wonderful. The food is so hot when it comes to your table you have to wait and let it cool down a bit to even eat it. You also get your money's worth. Atmosphere is good also. You almost feel like your at the beach at a Tiki bar. They also have tables outside under a covered shed with fans and also have a bar outside too. WE LOVE IT and we go there every week.

HIGHLY RECCOMMEND THIS PLACE IF YOU LIKE GOOD SEAFOOD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is true that the Palmetto B...

It is true that the Palmetto Bar & Grill is probably the best fish camp in York County. I must say my food was great. To me, the speed and level of service needs to improve. The place is small, so waiting for an outdoor table on a Saturday night was expected. When we were called to our table, it hadn't been cleaned, so we sat at a dirty table for a little while. Our waitress got us our drink order and said she'd be back to take our meal order. Twenty minutes later, my wife had to ask our waitress to come take our order. Once our order was placed, it took at least another hour to get our food.

I worked in the food industry for many years. For a place the size of Palmetto Bar & Grill, there is no reason for fried fish to take an hour to prepare and cook. If you sit outside, understand the bar comes first and the wait staff will get to your table if they have time. Be prepared to ask for refills and ice for your drink, and don't come here in less you've got the entire evening to sit wait. Again, the food was great when we finally got it, and it was fresh. It didn't appear to sit under a heat lamp for long, but the wait just didn't make it worth it. When I got the bill, I handed them my card to pay and was told they only take cash or check, and that an ATM was located inside.

This was my 2nd time to Palmetto, and probably my last. To me, speed and level or service is just as important as food quality, and this placed failed in two of those three categories. If Palmetto could turn over tables quicker they could probably double their business. With a place that has maybe 20 tables total (inside and out) there's no reason for it to take an hour to get a plate of fried fish. There is a problem when the wait staff starts joking with your table about how long everything is taking. We spent a total of 2 1/2 hours from the time our name went on the wait list to when we got the check. Don't come here unless you're looking for a place to hang out at all night.

Best EVER

I love seafood. This place is amazing. The oysters are the best i have ever had. The frogs legs taste fresh. The seafood taste like it is straight from the sea. THAT GOOD!
