Manhattan Driving School

I took my road test last week and passed thanks to Robert,my instructor. He was very patient with me and he taught me everything I need to know in order to pass the road test. I am a new driver and I have no driving experience when I started my lessons with Robert. He helped me build confidence behind the wheel. I wouldn't have done it without his guidance. I strongly recommend Manhattan Driving School and Robert.

So far so good! I just began taking lessons here with Robert, on the recommendation of a friend passing the road test here, and his driving lessons are excellent. After coming from another school and also taking informal lessons, this is the 1st time I actually felt extremely confident as a new driver. Robert really seems to focus on the basics/foundations that other teachers overlook. Also the 1-hour classes are REALLY affordable!

Alex was the best! They really care for you and want you to your licence fast... Without his help I would be stuck taking the bus

Alex is awesome! The first lesson I had with Alex was like a dream come true. He teaches you what exactly you need to do on the day of road test. I had some driving experiences so had three lessons with him. You won't be disappointed.

I just passed my exam today. I want to Thank Robert. He is the best. He is very patient and very kind. He also lets you know when you are doing mistakes . So if you are looking for a driving school and instructor, he is definitely your guy.

The worst customer service ever! I mad an appointment no one showed up. I called and Kevin the manager was very rude and yelling on the phone. Horrible service!!

I passed my driving exam last Friday. After the countless lessons it finally paid off. I had a great instructor. Thanks Robert.

I took lessons with Alex 2 yrs ago and passed my driving exam first time around. I was 30 yrs old at the time, had never driven before & therefore was extremely anxious, so much so that I never believed I'd be able to do it. Alex instilled confidence in me by kindly pushing me into driving situations that I never in a million years thought I'd be able to do. He is very professional, confident & patient. Now 2 years later, I absolutely love driving & feel super confident in my driving ability thanks to him. I would highly recommend him to anybody.

Love, love, loved this school!!! Alex was great instructor. Without his help there's no way I would have passed my road test the second time. I took the road test in my brothers car in Yonkers and failed horribly. My parking and turns always gave me problems and I could not do more worse when it came time for the road test. When I failed the first time I taught its going to take me forever to get the license. I was ready to give up but my mom found this school online and told me to go here and give it a second try. I was so happy to have Alex as my teacher. Alex showed me over and over again tricks with the mirror and blind spots witch helped me so much with the parking. Turns took me a bit of time but I got them eventually. After a month of practicing with Alex I was ready to take the test and I PASSED!!!! Anyone who has problems with anything with driving should go to Alex he will really help you out. Alex was a great guy and I will surely miss but never forget him. Thank you soo much!

I had a very pleasant experience with Alex...my lessons were very enjoyable and straight to the point! Very nice instructor...the price was more than resonabule considering the kind of car I was driving and the fact that I passed my road test!

Instructor Alex was the highly educated and skillful professional instructor!! I passed the DMV road test in first try!! I choose this place based on all of the positive reviews so I wanted to add my own review to let everyone know they should choose them too!! I am so thankful :)

Two driving schools and so much money I spent else where learning how to drive, I then signed up with Manhattan Driving School because I really needed to get my license already. I knew it had to happen some day but It took way too long, I had Alex as my instructor and he was excellent. Alex kept it real with me and told me what I need to work on, which he tells at the end of each class. I got the 5 lesson package since I knew how to drive but need to brush up on my turns and parking. Alex is very professional, and honestly, I don't think you can get better deals like this anywhere. I had tried a few driving schools in the past and they were not so good. Never had the courage to take my road test because I wasn't ready. But I was still driving at times but I still needed to learn the rules and regulations of the road. I am also very happy to add that I passed my road test during the late summer. I am happy to recomend Manhattan Driving School to

anyone that wants to get the drivers license. The other drivings schools simply dont care and only out to get you for your money. Alex thank you for all your help!

This place is a must MUST go if you want to ace your road test the first time. I highly recommend Alex! My first impression with him was that he was very laid back and super NICE. Unlike the last instructor I had from American Driving School, this place actually have the right people working for them. Alex will tell you every single minor detail you need to know. 

Alex tells you EXACTLY what to do and HOW to do it so there are no questions left to ask. He is an instructor that really wants you to pass the road test the first time. 
I paid for 5 lessons and the car for road test. The secretary Claria, was also SO nice. She answered all my questions that I would have and called me on days I would have the driving lessons with Alex. If you want to pass, look no further, I guarantee you will NOT be disappointed in Alex! He is an amazing driving teacher.

I just passed my road test on the first try thanks to Manhattan Driving School. Alex and Robert are the nicest and most caring driving instructors you will ever have. They definitely have the right techniques to help you learn and understand everything. Their methods are soo simple and easy to understand. They really want you to succeed and they were there cheering me on every step of the way. Alex always worked with my schedule and my schedule was pretty hectic this summer. I found this driving school online, the reviews are great. The school is in Yonkers, the prices were affordable compare to other driving schools that charged more in Yonkers, My instructor was Kevin. He gave me bunch of useful tips and advise during my 10 classes with him. We drove in different parts in town, it's fun driving in heavy traffic on central park ave, which is actually a very good practice. 

I had a bad experience with another driving school in Yonkers that just made me drive around in a circle. I got not during my lessons with them. I had more than 10 class with the other school and still failed the test about four times. I knew something was wrong thats why I am really glad I came here. This school is totally worth the money and helped me get the license. Thanks Manhattan Driving School you were the best! :)

I signed up for the 5-hr class, 5 driving lessons and road test package and it was well worth every penny! The rates are very reasonable and they get you a road test appointment as soon as you complete your 5-hr class which takes the pressure off of having to do it yourself. I took lessons with Alex and he was an incredible teacher. Alex is very patient and made me feel comfortable even when I made mistakes in the car. I've taken the road test twice before and failed. I was convinced I'd never drive, but Alex proved me otherwise. Thanks to him, I felt confident when I took the road test and passed on 8/15! This is a great driving school!

I went to Manhattans Driving School after failing my test with another driving school and Mr Alex was able to teach me perfectly and helped me passed the road test easily that time. He explains clearly how to do U turns, how to park safely and prepares you very well for the road test. Highly recommended.

I signed up for the 10 lesson package. This includes the 5-hour class, the car for the test, and they set up everything for you for the Road test. 

I took the 10 lesson package and passed today, my first time. 

Alex was my instructor, he was the best! Alex was very patient and had comforting way of speaking.  Alex took the time to explain everything to me so that I could apply what I was learning in the car with him.

The staff works with you to schedule the lessons at a time that is convenient for you and email you in advance to remind you.

What I really liked about this school it's a small organization. The receptionist is very easy to communicate with and remembers you and your situation.

I took the test and passed on my first try! I am very happy that I went to this driving school and will definitely recommend everyone to going here..

You really helped me out!

I've tried other driving schools and this one is by far the best driving school of all time. My driving has improved dramatically & Instructor Alex is the BOMB! I had problems in my turning, steering and breaking. Alex never lost hope in me, and showed me over and over again until I got it right. Alex was so nice and always had a smile on his face. With out him I would have given up all together. I took my road test with Alex and passed! I PASSED!!! When you go to Manhattans Driving School ask for Alex, he will help you pass the road test.
