Just ask questions because no one tells you when there is a discount unless you find out about it yourself. They have military discounts but if you don't read it on the very tiny cardboard (practically unnoticeable) on the counter you won't know. Also the bride has to put any purchases on her own card or you won't Get the discount. I know. We paid $1g. I found out on my own. Also they don't press your dress so if it's wrinkled....pay a fee to get it ironed. Although they do a small type streaming it for free....but you won't know SMDH. I'm really hoping that if my other daughter whose also getting married could use another shop for dresses. Employees here are very nice. Attentive & tbh they really are eager to help in any way shape or form. Those GIRLS ROCK. But The chain store needs to really come out louder when they have discounts because weddings are very costly these days.

I have a very pleasant experience with alteration of my mother-of-the groom dress in David's Bridal in Westchester. My stylist and alteration contact was Angela. She was very pleasant and helpful in selecting a dress and advising on some alteration. The dress alteration was done very professionally and on-time. I had a chance to meet a few people from alteration department and I can tell you that they all are very pleasant and professional people. I would highly recommend to use this store as a one-stop shop for your wedding preparation. Aleksandra .
I found her by searching fast tailors in Yonkers.. I had ordered a dress for my daughters sweet sixteen party and waited a month for it to e altered .. When I finally got the call to pick it up I was excited.... Well when I got there and tried it on it was a disaster.. Didn't fit right at all and the serum material was all pulled.. It had a home right in front where they had put a hard tag through it.. The store manager gave me a roll if body tape and told me to use that where dress didn't got right.. I them decided to order a different dress online and relieved it three days before my event. I called la robe and she told me to bring it right in. I did and she was so understanding and pinned it right away. Bless thus lady because she had it finished the next morning and it was perfect!!!!! She saved my sanity and my daughter was thrilled that I was happy . I will Definately be going back there with all my alterations from now on!!!!! By the wSy my dress had a lit if lace on it and people told me that was a very big job that would take time and a lit if money. This place proved all of them wrong her price was reasonable considering my circumstances .. Thank you from one very happy and relieved mommy !!
WAY OVERPRICED! They charge crazy amounts for alterations! I also believe they scam brides by ordering sizes bigger than what you ordered and then forcing you to have it altered. Other brides on other websites noticed the same thing! Check out Weddingwire and The Knot! They were a rip off. Beware!
I WOULD NOT recommend Leah to anyone! She RUINED my gown FOUR DAYS before my daughters wedding and REFUSED to pay me the full amount the dress cost. She was trying to get me to take a used dress instead. In the mist of Leah altering my gown, she got a stain on it and when I pointed it out, she was trying to say it was there all along. Leah sent it to her cleaners, which I believe is her company. Well, whoever cleaned my gown, melted all my bead work into the dress, which left over a hundred marks on it. All Leah and her husband kept saying was that there wasn't a tag inside the dress to say how to clean it. WELL, IF YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW TO CLEAN A GOWN, THEN DON"T TOUCH IT! Leah was very nasty and never paid me full price for my dress! I cried for days and had to purchase (NOT FROM HER) another gown, which was not as fancy as my original gown. Thank You Leah for making the days before my daughters wedding HELL!!!!
I went to this shop twice and both times had a TERRIBLE experience! The bridal consultants are rude and couldn't care less about making your experience an even decent one! It seems they don't treat you nicely until you put a deposit on a dress and even then it's all about the money your paying without regard to the service they are giving. The first time I went to look for a bridal gown and was rushed in and out of dresses as if I was a waste of the consultants time. The second (what a mistake) I went to look for bridesmaids dresses and ended up leaving after my first bridesmaid tried on a dress because of the lack of respect they had for me as a costumer! I am so glad I didn't buy anything from this store and DO NOT advise anyone to even remotely consider going to this store. Lastly, their price points seemed to be about $30 higher than most other places I went to for the same exact dresses... Not worth it at all.
To the future brides do not bring any of your business to these thieves. they will take your money and then ask you for more. They will not give you your dress untill you pay more for the alterations you already had paid for. all hidden fees. they can ruin all you wedding plans.
