West Godwin Elementary School

this school completely neglected my childs needs. i asked for sign language my son with autism nonverbal uses signlanguage i asked for sign language it was over looked my 7 yr old non verbal child has gottin outside during school the principal says at least he wasnt in the road.. i bought alarms with on off switches for the classes so teachers were made aware he got out (3 adults to 5 autistic children) they were lost and took a week to find them after i complained enough then another week to put up. my son has celiacs disease yet they let him have gluten. and casein he cant have milk products either. they lost his snacks i sent in. i sent in food and they still gave him the wrong foods. they left my son in dried poop for over an hr at least because he was covered from waste to toe in dried poop. i dropped in a at least 10 times my child was sitting in a corner on a cell phone watching you tube each time. i stopped on for lunch and the children were running all over the cafeteria. its no wounder my son was able to get out. i was promised my someone would be holding my sons hand outside of the class room my son still got outside promised by the principal. i asked for the teachers background with autism from day 1. and the principal said he could not would not give it to me. yet in the ni child left behind act if a parent asks they have to. it is on the school website signed in the principals name. my child was taught nothing. i pulled him out of school last week just started homeschooling him and i just taught my autistic son math ( addition) why was nobody working things with my child and my child has so much potential that was never taught to him... i just taught him colors, i taught him sign language, math, shapes, and this school taught him nothing.. they did not care enough to try. they wanted ti cut his goals down to three goals goals he already met.. why not add goals not take away. they do not care enough to even get to know these children and if they did they would see why im so angry. if all they did was cared enough to try
