Mt View Cabin & Motel

If you are interested in simply getting away from the city, having a quiet, cozy, fair priced room to stay then Mt. View is the place for you. These cabins are not for those who are picky by any means, but they are comfortable. The Managers are very nice and very accommodating. If you visit during the summer, bring along a fan as there are no air conditioners. The spa tubs are dated, but once you settle down into that warm bubbly water you could care less. Jensen's Market, which has everything...is within walking distance and just a few steps further you will find a very busy Bakery on the second floor above. If you don't try the owners specially created cheeseburger grilled between tortillas, you will be missing a real treat! It's our favorite breakfast meal! Lunch on the porch is enjoyable as you watch and listen to the many birds flitting back and forth in the Bird Sanctuary just feet in front of you. Pets are welcome, so if you want to include your best friend you won't have to leave him home. A picturesque drive and picnic area is just South on Route 2 South at Buckhorn Campground where there are hiking trails (just be careful of snakes in the warmer season).
