Meh. It is a Walmart so my expectations aren't high to begin with. I'm just usually disappointed because, surprisingly, their prices aren't always cheaper than some of the other stores in Woodland Park. Also, they have a poor selection of most of my staples. They carry maybe 2 types of chicken broth (both poor quality). The produce usually appears old and they have a poor selection of natural foods. It is convenient that it is open late at night and is just fine for snack foods but not much else. Another issue I've had is that they don't seem to ever answer the phone. It will ring for nearly 10 minutes and no one will pick-up. Why not?The night crew is pretty great though. Quality customer service on their end.
The air is extremely toxic in this store and after my encounter with a Frebreeze machine I can no longer go in this nasty air Walmart. I have asthma and I am sensitive to sprays that whoosh into the air. They had a machine that was puffing out Frebreeze every minute and even my husband said there was a misty cloud hanging near the ceiling. Another couple noticed it also when I nearly passed out. If you value your lungs avoid this place.
Regardless of what you think of Walmart, it has saved us all money and generated lots of revenue already here in Woodland Park. Most are happy to have it here, along with the convenience of the Subway right in the store.
