Thank You for Everything

After living at Woodland Park West our Dad recently passed away.
I wanted to share with other people that our family was extremely grateful for everything they did for our Dad and family.
Dad was not easy and was rather stubborn. Somehow they got him to take his medication, go to Doctor's when sick and in what was nothing short of a miracle he finally let go of the past and became our friend again.
I don't know what they did but it meant a lot to us that we could have a couple of years without the anger he had always seemed to have.
So if you are looking for a place for a family member trust that you have found the right place.
Good luck and remember to cherish every moment.

Pleased to report.....

I don't often write reviews of any place I frequent but this is a little different. My wife's mother, a very difficult woman, moved here from the east coast recently and needed somewhere safe and acceptable to my wife to live.We searched all over the place and the prices are sky high. Someone is making a lot of many in this industry.Woodland Park West presented us with a pirce and set of services that seemed to fit the bill for the three of us.After she moved in we experienced nothing sort of a miracle. She was reborn! Eating, socializing and wanting to travel places.I guess these folks do some group traveling. For me the fact that my wife ( and mother-in-law) are happy is what makes this place so special. Price, social activites and the food are the things that seemed to calm them both and so I recommend this place and believe me we looked at a lot of places before chosing this one.

Everything is better now.

My Grandpa had lived in Las Vegas for the last many years. My Dad and I visit him once a year and this past spring we discovered he's not eating, cleaning or taking his medication.
We decided to move him near us here in the valley. Searched a bunch of places and found this one. He can afford it and seems to enjoy it. We take him home for dinners and I take him out with my GF to movies and stuff.
I'm glad we found this place and it seems my Dad is more relaxed now.
So we recommend this place and the people working there.
Just my 2 cents.

Great Location and really nice and hard workers.

My Mother and Father moved from out of state to be near us. Sadly, my Mother passed away some time later and we were really worried about Dad.
This place saved his life. He is full of life and very active now.
Our fears are gone and we are so pleased that is back to his old self again. He is going on trips and calls us to go out to dinner and my husband to go to ball games. This is what we dreamed would happen we only wish Mom was still here.
The price, location and looks of the place are great.
It's not all about money to these people. They care about the seniors before anything else.
If you are ever looking for a place contact them.
Life is precious and the final years can be the best or worst. I wish I knew what I know now when I was younger. I covet every moment with my Dad and it helps that he happy, well cared for and healthy.

They really cared about my Grandmother

My Grandmother just passed away. But the last few years of her life she lived in this Retirement Community. I'm posting this review because the people that run this place are the most caring and humble people I have ever met.
It's a big place- I think they have over 100 peeple living there. Being that big allows them to do lots of activities. I've been invited to parties, concerts, on trips incliding ocean cruising. My mother and my Grandmother went on one a few months ago to Mexico and some of the staff went too. They had a great time I heard and my Mom and her Mom had a chance to share something so special.
I can't recommend this place enough. We toured many places and while this is not the most fancy place we saw it was also not the most expensive.
My grandmothers sister still lives there. She had been in another place that was more expensive and the staff, food and activities were not as good when compared to Woodland Park West.
