I no longer use NetZero as faster means of internet access are available in my area. I did use their dial-up service for about 3 yrs. Prior to using NetZero, I had dial-up with other providers. Of the 3 or 4 I used, I would say NetZero was the most reliable. I had maybe one issue with connectivity in the entire time I used them. Yes - response time is slow - it's dial up and you can't stay logged on all day like you can with some cable providers, but their reliability was the best of all dial-up providers.

picked up the install disc at local walmart and went online to get internet service. after going through the sign up process I then find out that there is no service in my area. No dial up access numbers nor broadband, nor dsl. They then tell you online that they are only available in 80 cities across the U.S.

This company has the worst "customer service I've ever had to deal with! They lie to get access to your credit card or debit card and charge you for a service but, they don't provide the service! When you call and complain, all you get is "i'm so sorry to hear you are having problems" no solution to your problems. But, they keep charging you full price for sub-standard speed and connections.

The order clerk processed my order-THEN told me I had to obtain a working phone line in the house at an extra expense. When I tried to back out of the order-he would not withdraw the order. He then transferred me to someone who hardly spoke english but who also refused to cancel the order-and transferred me to yet another person....where I have now been on hold for nearly an hour. Lousy service---would be a great understatement.

I called to get a quote, and the representative was unable to provide basic information and unable to refer me to somebody who could. He was plenty eager to sign me up, just not to answer any questions about the service. Terrible.

We have used Net Zero for several years and have been satisfied. It is dial up which is slow but it is very affordable. Living in the country we had few choices and found Net Zero to be our most affordable and best choice.
