My son has been attending Alicia's Bees since he was 3.5 months old. Ms. Alicia and her team (2 other ladies) are extremely attentive with my son who is now 2 years old. She's been in business for more than 20 years. She always advises me and my husband of his progress and things we need to do (i.e start potty training, change nipple size of bottle etc), which we appreciate as first time moms. My son has really blossomed here. I can tell the difference from his progress with other kids his age who are stay at home alone with a care taker. He's very social. He can say ALL his abcs since he was 22 months old and count in both english and spanish up to 20! I appreciate he's learning both english and spanish. Ms. Alicia is very attentive and cooks fresh healthy meals daily, which was extremely important to my husband and I. The kids are happy and well trained. The home care is clean and really looks like a classroom! We love it here and highly recommend.
My infant daughter went here for a while; my family and I moved to GA and unfortunately had to take my daughter out. If I could give this place more stars I would. I loved it and I have never felt more comfortable leaving my infant daughter with anyone else. I visited a lot of day cares in the area prior to choosing this one; it was by far my favorite. Not only did they take EXCELLENT care of my baby girl, but they use an app that notifies me via email all day of every action with my daughter. I received an email notifying me every time she was fed and how many ounces she ate, I got a notification of every diaper change and whether it was a wet or bm, and one for every nap she took and how long she slept. I felt soooo connected to my baby girl all day when I was at work and I loved it! Oh and they also send photos of baby throughout the day too. It definitely made going back to work so much easier. I wish wish wish I could have stayed in Woodbridge just so she could have stayed at this daycare. The infant care is amazing, they even have a curriculum that incorporates baby yoga; and the moves are focused to relieving gas, and the teacher showed me the moves too so I could use them at home (after looking them up I learned they're pretty basic moves, like holding hands to feet and rolling left to right, NOT crazy baby Russian yoga or anything like that lol). Also, the ladies that work the infant/baby area are so sweet/energetic/caring. I loved this place...sad to move away. Honestly, I can't say say enough good things about it, and no I'm not paid to leave this review or anything like that, just one happy momma with a great experience there. And no, this isn't the first or only daycare I've used, I've got two older children and have never found a better daycare.
Ms. Juanita has our 5 year old reading in 9 months of attendance. We are so blessed to have found someone who is so caring and consistent! Our 5 year old comes home with homework and is eager to practice his writing and reading. Thank you Ms. Juanita for not only getting our little one up to speed, but ahead of the pack!
After all the nonsense in the media with the terrible corporate child care experiences I wanted to find an awesome in home daycare. Well, this is it! Taran is one of those unique people who truly have a knack for children. Not only do the kids have a blast, but they also LEARN...learn A LOT! Just step inside and you will see that her home is dedicated to her work and you too will agree. Thank you so much Taran! I will recommend you to everyone.
Ms. Juanita is the best!! My son did summer school with her and he is now writing, reading and spelling like a first grader!!! Ms. Juanita goes above and beyond to teach the kids the word of God but also manners, respect and compassion!! My son was accepted into a top notch kindergarden program and he will be at the top of his class!!! Thanks to Ms. Juanita.
My son has been attending Rainbow Childrens Center for almost 2 years now and he loves going to see "ms tay tay" everyday. She works with him everyday to with numbers letters and he is even starting to say understandable words :) She is a very dependable provider and I don't know what I would do without her. She has also watch my older two occasionally when space allows and they love her as well. She is a very knowledgable and very loving individual and any kids she watches will fall in love with her and will most definitely be taken care of like they are her own. :) !!!!!
My daughter has just completed her first year with Ms. Juanita!! After my nephew attended during the summer and seeing the results I absolutely had to send my daughter with Ms Jaunita. My daughter at age 3 learned how to write her name, spell her colors and numbers, and sound her letters and so much more! When my daughter started she had mommy separation issues and did not even know how to color. My daughter always shocks people when she shows how much she knows and her confidence is great now. Me and my husband are so comfortable at work knowing she is in a safe environment and expanding her knowledge with Ms. Juanita. Ms. Juanita's preschool is the best decision we ever made for my daughter. This preschool is a great safe Christian environment where children actually learn.
my son went here, and while he seemed to enjoy it, I felt the prices were a bit steep, but hey, maybe I'm just cheap!
very very good childcare, at an affordable rate.. I don't usually do yelp reviews, but when I got the email, I thought I should, to at least show my appreciation... I'm a single father, and my daughter attended this daycare, for approximately 2 1/2 months, and while it was short term, I can definitely say, that this place was great. It's hard finding somebody/some place, where you can feel comfortable, leaving your child. But I can say, with 100% certainty, this is that place! My daughter looked forwards to being dropped off and would be hesitant to leave!... Anyway, just wanted to share my thoughts, and many thanks, to Taran and The Rainbow Children's Center
Wish I did not have to give them one star. Really don't know where to start this year been the worst school year and my kids been going there for 3 years. The staff don't care and the principal is no better. They never email you back you have to call back to back just to get the help you need. The reason I'm writing on YP today cause before my kids went back to school we went to the doctor just to see if they was sick cause I was told by Ms. Gray that my younger child must got it from her sister but they did not have the same cold. well my kids was not sick but yesterday they came home with the same damn cold go to show its not my house its the school they not cleaning it the way they need too. Some of the staff don't know how to talk to the children all they do is yell when you should be there to show them how to talk to people. I had to take my baby to the hospital and yes it was 2 hours delay and yes I ask if my kids could come in for 5 mins and then they can go line up with the other kids at 10:40. Just to tell you it was 10:36 and I was told no but their have been other kids that been sitting in there before school start. Back to school night start at 6:30 p.m. and my kids father get home at 6:45 so I ask if they could come for 10 mins and I was told "No" it was to be no kids cause their was not a lot of space. So I went late the min I walk in the school building all I could hear was kids crying and etc... As I was walking out I told her she was wrong all I ask for was 10 min and some kids was there with both mom and dad so why she did not stop them at the door and say no kids. So this school just help the ones they want to and let other break the rules now I see why no one listen to the rules and do what they want too.... I AM STILL GOING FOLLOW THE RULES BUT WILL NOT GO OUT MY WAY FOR THIS SCHOOL LIKE I DID BEFORE. P.S. I got yelled at for passing out pencil...
