I cannot say enough good things about this company. They have been taking my dad to dialysis and medical appointments for over a year. He has had to go to last minute urgent medical appointments and they were at my house to pick him up in 15-30 minutes. They always treat him with the utmost care and respect. They are always on time or early to pick up for appointments.
A negative rating, as negative as you can go; this company is unethical. One of there drivers with the license plate N11-850 hit my car while he was in my 2nd parking spot and played dumb and would not give me any information. Don't use this company, it's the third world. Before any of this happened, this guy William, was sleeping in the van, in my parking spot, and I went to kick him out, and he obviously doesn't know how to drive. So add unsafe to the mix. Unethical, unprofessional, and not vetted. This company doesn't know what customer service means.
If I could rate negative numbers I would totally give a -10 cause their service sucks and you can complaint all you want and they will never listen nor work hard to give its costumer good service. Eric , who is the main person there.. Never answer his phone nor he does anything to fix the issues. Staff are rude and they don't even treat the patients with respect. If anyone reads the rating please DO NOT CONTACT KMT AND TRY SOMETHING ELSE ! ..
We have been using this service for more than a year. Have had and continue to have issues regarding drop-off/pick-up timelines and staff unprofessionalism. They begin their service perfect for a month, then for the rest of the time you are with them, they slack-off and begin to not care for the patient. KMT claims door-to-door delivery of the patient, ever since the first month of service, they have never done that again. We complained to the main branch directly, Eric, the main person working there, loves to hang up and doesn't do anything to rectify the issue. We tried calling Logisticare, the VA gov branch associated with giving contracts to companies such as KMT, they sometimes take care of the complaints. We filed literally 50+ complaints before anything was done. When Logisticare actually rectified the issue. It was only temporary. Literally after two weeks, the issue of picking-up and dropping off began again and the driver continues to neglect caring for the patient, specifically by wearing oversized headphones and not dropping the patient to the door (KMT's mission statement). It is honestly pointless to even complain. Its surprising that this is where our tax dollars are going! To companies like KMT, who continue to neglect patient care. Whats really upsetting, other than our exp, is what might be happening to other families who don't know how to speak-up for themselves. There are only a few transportation companies in VA that are covered by Medicaid/care and KMT is advertised as one of the better ones. In general, the services covered by Medicare/aid are generally terrible. So its not such a big surprise that all of this is happening. What is surprising is that even after countless complaints, situation does not get better. Anyhoe, we do have the driver neglecting the patient on video, so if this review doesn't change anything, maybe making the video go viral on social media will.
