Located in Woodbridge, Conn., the Jewish Community Center of Greater New Haven is a nonprofit organization that offers services to promote health and fitness. The organization conducts sports conditioning games, kickboxing, strength training a cardiovascular activities and drill sessions. It organizes folk, belly and ballroom dance sessions. The Jewish Community Center of Greater New Haven offers assistance with the development of social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of young children. The organization operates the Yeladim Childcare Center, which offers classes in math, science, social studies, literature and creative arts. In addition, it hosts summer camps that include a variety of activities, including aquatics, archery, hiking, hoops, and arts and crafts.
