Everyone was so nice and kind to me in the beginning. That changed shortly after they took my money. They robbed me blind. I had to quit due to a leg injury and had a doctors note as proof. They also did NOT tell me the nutritionist costs you $70 and they count it as a personal training session so beware of that. I got charged $29.99 for membership dues since I quit 2 days after they charged me they would not refund me. I feel as though they could have at least try to work with me. I really loved the working out but they misinformed me about their trainers said it would be great for me, talked me up to a big package, told me the trainer had a lot of experience with people in my condition (I have spina bifida) Now I am hurt, back in PT and out almost $1,000 for a month of a gym membership, training and fees. I called to discuss my issues with the owner Sharon, but she does not return my calls. Read all the reviews everywhere on this place I wish I did I would never have signed up.
This gym is probably not unique in their practices but they are extremely shady:I joined this gym on February 2015 and paid an annual fee + a membership fee when I signed up. On February 6, 2016, a year later, I was charged the annual fee again and decided to cancel my membership. Here is what I was told:1. I will not be reimbursed the annual fee, nor will it be prorated. Annual fee is $49.952. I will be charged a cancellation fee of $30.00 at the end of the monthSo I technically have till the end of the month to use the Gym, wouldn't you think it'd make sense to only be charged 1 month of the annual fee, at worst? And what exactly is the cancellation fee for?It seems to me that they are just squeezing as much money out of you as they think they can. As an aside, I was once a couple days late paying my monthly membership fee, which is on auto pay, because of a processing error with my credit card, and they charged me $15.00 which they wouldn't refund
Very disappointed in Pumps. Brought a flyer that offered one free month and $29.99 after that -- the introductory fee was waived with this special. Guess what? The introductory fee was not waived. Not very truthful advertising
I bought a month membership on Groupon. The facility is very clean. I love having my own tv mounted on the treadmill. I am about to loose myself in Cash Cab or what ever I want to watch at that time. It makes my workout fly by!
