Teeth Cleaning

Resin Composite
In many ways, dental bonding is similar to veneers. However, instead of attaching porcelain shells, Dr. Smith will cover your teeth in composite resin. This allows him to conceal a range of imperfections and achieve symmetry in your smile. Bonding is an affordable option, and it can be a great choice if you are not a candidate for veneers.
Veneers
Dr. Smith often performs gum contouring in conjunction with veneers or bonding. Using a soft tissue laser, he will remove excess tissue to create a beautiful frame for your smile. If your gums are too high, or if you have a slight gap between your teeth, he can also administer dermal fillers to create healthier-looking gums.
Crowns
CEREC® incorporates the same technological principles used to design and manufacture everything from satellites to motor vehicles since the 1980s. In essence, the product is designed in the digital realm, and computerized manufacturing tools create the physical version based on the virtual design. In our office, CEREC® captures a three-dimensional digital impression of your smile, and Dr. Smith can then adjust these images on a chairside computer. With CEREC®, there is no need for the messy dental putty traditionally used to take dental impressions. If you are receiving a crown or veneer, CEREC® will create your restoration based on these images within the span of a single appointment. If you are receiving orthodontic treatment, Dr. Smith will use these images to determine the tooth movement necessary to properly align your bite.

Although the goal of modern dentistry is to eliminate the need for extractions, sometimes they are necessary. We pride ourselves on the ability to make your experience comfortable and pain-free. We extract third molars (wisdom teeth) and other teeth, as well as perform biopsies and other minor surgery. Nitrous oxide anesthesia is available for your comfort.

Orthodontics is the specialized area of dentistry which handles the treatment of problems in the alignment of teeth and jaws. By focusing on the face and not just the teeth, patients are given their own fountain of youth – a balanced face and a beautiful, stable smile. Our goal is to provide the highest level of orthodontic therapy possible in a caring, friendly environment. Dr. Smith is a member of the International Association of Orthodontics. He offers both traditional braces and Invisalign.®
Invisalign Orthodontics
Dr. Gordon proudly offers orthodontic care to improve both your appearance and your oral health. Invisalign® and ClearCorrect™ are similar treatments that use clear aligner trays to straighten teeth. ClearCorrect™ is an affordable option designed to treat minor misalignment. If you have more pronounced orthodontic issues, Invisalign® may be recommended. Dr. Smith can also provide traditional braces, if needed.
Braces
Our office is unique because we often use CEREC® to plan treatment involving braces and clear aligner trays. We will measure your entire dental arch with the digital scanner. Next, we will use these images to design your oral appliance. In addition to traditional orthodontic treatment, we can supply a device to expand your arches, reposition your lower jaw, or both. For accurate results, Dr. Smith must plan these appliances on a dental model. With CEREC®, he can simply scan your jaw and design your device on the computer in one visit.

Teeth Whitening
We offer several different options to remove dental stains and give you a whiter, rejuvenated smile. In-office Zoom! treatment yields immediate results, and we provide touch-up trays you can take home for maintenance. Dr. Smith can also provide take-home whitening, which you can perform at your convenience. Both treatments incorporate a desensitizing gel to maintain your absolute comfort
Cosmetic Dentistry
A smile makeover combines two or more cosmetic procedures to give you the smile you have always wanted. Dr. Smith will take careful note of your goals to recommend a treatment plan. A makeover can include any cosmetic dentistry treatments, injectables, and general or restorative treatments, depending on your needs. Your smile makeover will be tailored to meet your goals and complement all your best features.
