Great New England Seafood: Finally located a seafood restaurant that had the Ipswich whole belly clams. They were prepared to perfection. My wife and I will be back with our friends. Reminds me of digging clams back on Long Island and steaming them. Oh how great the broth tasted.

My wife and I have been going to Boston's Fish House for over 20 years and I can honestly say we have never had a bad experience. The food is always fresh, cooked to perfection with good sized portions. The dining room is always very clean, the service is outstanding and so friendly. We recently went to the west coast and decided to have ""great sea food"" since we were there, and we were so disappointed. We have learned that if we want ""great sea food"" we can only get it at Bostons!

Ok.. you walk in, possibly stand in line a short time, order & pay at the counter, someone takes you to your table, & you are served the most authentically delicious New England seafood dishes. AND all with a GREAT VALUE! This family really knows how to cook!. My parents, friends & I've been going here since they opened in 1988. I even worked here part-time for a short stint in '93 before they moved to their current location. Always fresh & delicious. The Lobster Bisque & Clam Chowder are made fresh EVERY day.. no day old stuff here! They close down for 30min each day to change the oil & this allows for maintaining the freshness & quality. The BEST delicately fried onion rings! Most things are fried, but you can request it to be broiled (it will just take a little longer). The only sad part is they aren't open EVERY DAY, lol.

This place rocks... their only fault is that they are 30+ minutes from my house! They need a Millenia location! The atmosphere is very informal, but the food is amazing! I always get the Ipswich Clams (whole bellied) that are fried, but I start off with Lobster Bisque! Yes I am a food snob! I have worked my way through most of the menu (eating off everyone's plate at my table!), and nothing is anything but exceptional! Can't wait to go again... we are talking about tomorrow! Yummy!
I have been going to this place for many, many years and never had any problems. Place is always clean and quick service. There soups are great and the batter on there food is light, they always give you a huge portions. No matter what you order, you can not go wrong.
We stopped in because we'd heard about the food (which was just okay) but based on how we were treated we would NEVER recommend this place nor would we ever return. No one came to refill our drinks or ask if we needed anything and we watched other tables receive the same treatment. Patrons had to flag down the rude and cantankerous servers to ask for beverages and napkins. In these times, restaurants should appreciate customers especially when there are so many choices out there.
