We've put together a small list to get you started on your journey -- and the first step starts with a single box.
I am a military veteran, recently separated from the Dept. of Homeland Security and I have never been in this type of position before. 1) the kids running through the breezeway screaming, after reporting the issue we then became the problem. We are terrible tenants because every time we hear the screaming we come out to see if something is wring with the kids ranging from 4 to 11 years of age , well after getting up 17 times you get a little tired of the noise. 2)we complained about the people that park in the parking lot outside the apartments smoking weed, nothing got done about that so I started patrolling the parking lot myself because I was still with the Dept. of Homeland Security at the time informing police when they were out there. Then when reported all I got was , " Yeah we know" and , " Have a good day" 3)The maintenance staff is overwhelmed with reports , rats, Its just to much for him. I have never had an issue with any of my neighbors anywhere I have lived but I have a neighbor above me that should have been evicted months ago due to me complaining the upstairs neighbor Ms. Valeria Abrams employed at Baptist Hospital as a security guard put trash in front of our door and put a bloody tampon applicator on our back porch which I have pictures of, I have video of her throwing trash at our cars out here also. She makes a point to make as much noise as she possibly can between the hours of 12 a.m. to 3 a.m. and also including fighting and her two kids are left up there alone to make even more noise. I have complained to the rental manager Charlene more than 6 times and I have called the police four times in which I have four police reports . Charlene laughs in my face completely disregarding our request and she does not take our reports seriously. Don't move here , go somewhere else we are only hoping that she terminates our lease like she did in the last review , DO NOT RENT HERE, DONT RENT HERE , PLEASE BEWARE DONT RENT HERE, NO ALQUILAR AQUÍ
Wallburg Landing is relatively new, and it's a great price for the quality and amenities (which is why I'm giving 2 stars versus 1), but I have been having a lot of issues with the leasing office recently. I've been speaking to Ashley about having to break our lease because of an unforseen job opportunity coming up out of town. We spoke to her 2 weeks ago in person and asked what we needed to do in case we were to move and she never told us about the 30 day notice. We had to wait 3 days for an email response (in general you have to wait at least a day to get a response), and her emails are FULL of jargin- none of it makes sense, and then at the end of the email she'll put "I hope that makes sense" or "I hope that didn't confuse you"... If you are not competent enough to formulate a professional email you should not be the manager of an apartment complex... because your job in a nutshell is to communicate with the residents. The way she explains and answers questions can be very misleading and can leave you, the resident, in prediciments you'd never thought you'd be in because either all of the information wasn't relayed, or the information wasn't relayed properly. I know NOW that the general practice is to put in a 30 day notification, but it had to come about in a very extensive and unecessary manner... and of course at my expense. So moral of this story is if you plan to move here, you'll enjoy it, but you have to research everything on your own because you can't count on the leasing office and manager to help you, even though that's partially what they're there for.
Ginkgo mgmt. n office staff lacks credibility, experience, and does not know proper people practices. Maintenance people lacks certifiable experience, lie, cheat, tells their friends and other residents lies about how one keeps their apt. Shootings stabbings, drunken fights, several conflicts with youth n young adults from opposing other apt. complexes, gang mentality hanging out at Glendare in groups of 50 to about 100 people. Robberies, gunfire, break-ins in apts. and cars. Glendare trying to sweep criminal activities under the rug. Yes police do come rolling through once a night but rarely capture or convict the offenders! Ask yourself if you ever saw these things in the local papers or the news? Cover up by ginkgo property mgmt. is for sure evident!
Terrible service. Emergency maintenance line does not work and maintenance just walk in on you without even calling or knocking.
Wallburg landing was a great place to live until they changed managers. LeAnne was the best manager for them and they decided to promote Ashley Morrison to manager. She does a terrible job at getting the correct information, anything you ask her, you have to wait on her to get a response from her manager. When I put in my 30 day notice, it seems to have offended Ashley, I have a handicap placard and had my car towed for the first time after they received my notice. Remind you I'd been living there for a year and a half prior and never had issues with my car or handicap placard. I feel that Ashley is not the right person for the manager position.
Roach infested trash everywhere
A great place to live in retirement with other senior citizens.
I am leaving this place as soon as possible. I have had nothing but problems with the landlords. Their fixtures are cheap. My dishwasher motor burned out and flood my kitchen. I have stains on the ceilings from flooding upstairs. I had my furnace burn out. It took over a year to get a small ramp built so I could get my disabled brother from the car up to the sidewalk in front of my apartment. Their is no one on site and the staff at Brookway West, with the exception of Stacy, are incompetent and rude. I had an agreement with them on my brother's car and they lied and broke the agreement causing me serious problem. Social Services is fed up with them and trying to get us out. Whatever you don DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE.
Take Care Every one Really this is just a grave not an apartment and the management is just a joke there is no manager with one word you can meet any one in their office and say his word ... they tell you words and second day they change it .... horrible place to live in ... really i am lucky to go away from this graves.
Think twice before moving here. The office does not follow legal protocol. Make sure you have a family attorney for this awful complex.
